But this season is different. I see a completely different team on both sides of the ball. This is a very confident team. They know that they can hang with anybody in the league. It's just a matter of executing and not making mistakes. I feel like they have done a very good job of limiting mistakes for the most part. Yes there have been some obviously but I think they have been minimal. Why have they been minimal? It points to the conservative style of play calling that we have seen. Don't turn the ball over. Minimize mistakes. Move the ball down the field. Stall out in the red zone. Kick field goal. I believe that the offensive struggles that we have been witnessing are an easy fix. There is an obvious deficiency with the play calling on offense and it's not a secret to anyone anymore. I think Henning needs to put the pedal to the metal with this offense. Does anyone agree? I feel like the players are not being utilized to their full potential. I feel like the Dolphins are like a luxury sports car with a Cobra engine but the engine has a "governor" on it. You could decide to take it off and get more performance out of the car, and some people don't have a problem with never going over 60 or 70 mph. Henning is one of those people. We have an offense that is capable of going 100 mph, but the play calling is only calling for 50 or 60 mph. Real talk.

You can want henning to put the pedal to the medal all you want but I don't see is old *** changing his playing not to lose style any time soon.Get used to the feild goals and hope the defence plays well is all we can hope for.

How different is it this time around?
Last game Dolphins played the Ravens, Chad Pennington was throwing to Brandon London.hugoguzman, SICK and BlameItOnTheHenne like this. -

The Phins will need to have their best game of the season so far in order to beat Baltimore at their house coming off the bye.

The biggest difference I see with this year's team, aside from overall talent, is having "playmakers."

Not just Miami. In 2009 they held Brandon Marshall to something like 24 yards receiving.

We have a better ranked defense than baltimore this year.....im not as worried as i was against the steelers. the bills assraped baltimores defense all game 2 weeks ago.
We can def. win this game guys -
I'll hold my breath after every (if any) deep passes. Ed Reed is still returning from injury but he still scares the **** outta me.

You can't tell me that:

If you look at over all points scored for, we edge them out. I have never knocked on us scoring FGs, I have no problem with them, but at some point we do need to score TDs to put teams away or we MAY continue to lose to teams like the Steelers, Pats, Jests, and possibly Ravens and Titans.SICK likes this. -
Geez man. Poor guy LOL -

A couple of thoughts:
-Miami can definitely win this game. They're built to play teams like the Ravens and/or Steelers (they can "out tough" tough teams)
-The turnover battle will be key. If Miami wins that battle, they should win the game
-The spotlight will likely be on Henne because Miami has had no luck running the ball against this offense (and that was back when our run game was half decent). Henne will need to move the ball and put the team in position to score while simultaneously avoiding the interception bug. Should be a good test for this young QB.
-Ray Rice is a concern. Our run defense has look pretty good, particularly since Crowder came back, but Rice is a home run hitter. Any breakdowns in our run defense will be exposed for big gains.
-Don't be surprised if Carpenter plays a key role (again)Ophinerated likes this. -

If I see another 2nd and goal from the 2 result in a field goal I will punch an elderly person at the sports bar.
