It was notable that during his introductory press conference Thursday, new Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph praised two players he coached with the Bengals: cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones and safety Reggie Nelson. Both are impending free agents, and expect the Dolphins to consider both.
### With the Chargers announcing they will play 2016 in San Diego, here’s where the Dolphins will play next season: Los Angeles (to meet the Rams), Seattle, San Diego, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Buffalo, New England and East Rutherford, N.J. (Jets). Miami’s home schedule: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Arizona, San Francisco, Tennessee, New England, Buffalo, Jets.
### New Dolphins offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen won’t get to call the plays, but he believes it’s a good idea that Adam Gase is keeping that responsibility for himself.
"I think it's how [Gase] got the head coaching job,” Christensen said. “I think a lot of those guys rise to the top because they have a knack for it. [Arizona Cardinals coach] Bruce Arians, who I've worked for a couple of times, just has a knack for calling games. I think some of the head coaches make a mistake not doing it.

Nelson and Jones?
You got me at "Hello". -
This team does not need a douche like Pacman.
We want to get better but we should do it without lowering the class of the organization.Dorfdad likes this. -
We just fired a coach (Philbin) that cared way too much about the "class" of the organization to the detriment of getting better (e.g. letting talent go elsewhere because of "maturity" issues). That win/loss record at the end of a season means a lot more to me than the personalities of the players. -
Really until that game against Pitt, Pacman seemed to be a fairly decent citizen. And really, considering what all went down, you cannot entirely tell me his issue were not part of the team culture as a whole.
I would be good with getting him and Nelson here on a good contract. Would not overpay, but I really think we need at least 1-2 solid veterans to shore up the secondary. Add a rookie or two as well, and we can begin to turn it around. -

Miko and Pacman??...eek
do we keep both and still draft CB @ 8
great player who's worth it on a short deal -
The issue that needs to be considered with behavior is the same thing that needs to be considered with injury history....what are the odds this player won't be able to play?
If the behavior issues are likely to get a player suspended or arrested, then that needs to viewed similar to injury. (Except it could be worse because it could also bring with it bad publicity). -
Both those guys are 32, do we really want to go down that road again, Greg Jennings 32, Brent Grimes 32, watching these guys get old on the field.
Speed is the first thing to go when you get old, and it happens quick a lot of the time, and it's tougher for DBs to adjust than WRs.
We don't need to be spending money on players who may need to be replaced midseason, everyone ought to get comfortable rebuilding, because that's exactly what needs to be done.dgfred likes this. -
It hasn't been ,"Pacman," for years. Adam Jones has grown up and he no longer lives or acts the way he did in his early and mid twenties. Some of you need to join the rest of us here in 2016.
Btw, I'm glad the Steelers won that game but Joey Porter deserved to be assailed.
Would love to have them both but that doesn't mean for one second that I'm not still going to draft CB Artie Burns and FS Deiontre Hall. I'm also expecting Lippett to be one of the starters on the boundary and I expect Jamar Taylor to be a FS/Dime back in the new defense. -

Ill take Reggie Nelson... Nelson and Reshad would be the best safety duo we had since Brock and Freeman.
