He'll be in the hall of fame. So it's not good bye forever. The NFL has never been moral high ground. Ray Lewis, James Harrison both hall of famers, both sketchy past. They got that politician money that can make things go away, Watson is spending it right now. This is more of a problem with our justice system. People will always do what they can to cheat the system, but the system shouldn't be in the business of selling justice.

 

It really is an end of an era. I grew up with the likes of Peyton, Eli, Rivers, Brees, Big Ben, and Brady. Now they are all (or in Brady’s case soon to be) retired. Makes me feel old! :lol:

 

I didn't think about that till you said this! Brady is 1 year old then me. My rationale was look what brady's doing, I'm not old... now that sucka retired.

 

Always liked watching him. peak Roth was a stud, could chuck it all over the field and was a tough SOB to bring down. I don't really care about the early career accusations. I liked watching Burnt Kobe play too, and he also was a rapist POS. I don't calibrate my ethical/moral compass to these dimwitted mongoloids, so they never really can disappoint me from that standpoint. Bur Big ben was a hell of a player, and i will miss appreciating his elite skill set, even if he probably should have retired a few years ago. hell of a career, see you in Canton.

Wow, yeah. Is Brady 45 this year? If so, I have 3.5 years on him. I still feel young though, even though my body says differently.

 

Crikey that is old! I will say this, I do envy you for having been alive to see all those greats play ball, especially Griese and Marino during the great years for the Dolphins.

 

For him to have played like he did the last two seasons has been nothing short of amazing. Granted I couldn’t stand him with the Patriots, but with the Buccaneers it was more bearable. I guess he’s gone out on his terms playing at a high level, though I am surprised he didn’t want to see out his contract and play until he was 45 like he said he wanted to.

It does leave the Buccaneers in a spot. Do they go with their rookie Kyle Trask? Blaine Gabbert? Or do they swing for the fences and go for Wilson or Rodgers in a trade?

 

I'd say to swing for the fences, but I was very impressed with Trask in Florida. From the start to the end of his junior year, it was a complete transformation. Then he broke all kinds of TD records his senior year....he was throwing 6 or 7 per game towards the end of the season. Not sure if he's NFL ready yet, but it's a good slate to start with.
