Actually what I felt was:

-despised Chad Henne for ruining yet another season
-despised Darren Rizzi's job performance
-knew Joe Berger sucked
-hoped Paul Soliai is kept

I thought that if Sparano remained married to Chad Henne this offseason, he should be fired.

As for the record, kept my perspective, the Dolphins have been bad for a very loong time and have climbed up to mediocre and stabilization this offseason is massively important, they cannot screw it up or the team will slide backwards from young and promising to young and listless.

For all of the *****ing about Sparano, his 25 wins is more than we had from 04-07 combined with no hope of a division title back then.

I have moved to neutral on Coach Sparano after looking at some stats, this team waay underperformed this season.

 

The Dolphins could finish 15-1 and Big O would find a way to piss in our cheerios about it.

 

The Draft is a fools errand Nabo, considering the that the best players on Defense were a #4 pick, a late #2 pick and a CFLer.

 

For those of us keeping score at home, just how many seasons has Chad Henne ruined? (Assuming we're counting last year when he took over an 0-3 team)

 

And it is like that every stinking day with him, every..single..day.

Would not put up with a drunk uncle, why would I put up with his garbage for 3 hrs per day?

 

And THEN he would deserve scorn; but for pointing out a painful truth? No.

 

2 both yrs he started in Miami, recall he did the same crap in the 2nd buffalo game last season and the pretty much ruined us.

I haven't listened, but my guess is he's probably patting himself on the back for saying how horrible this team was after they started 2-0 on the road.

 

So he took over an 0-3 team but still ruined the season? Was he not the QB in between Game #4 and Game #13?

If anything, Dan Henning ruined that game when he called an option pass with Ricky Williams. Not to mention our defense gave up 349824872934 points in the 4th quarter. I can play this game too.

Hours upon hours of endless talk about firing Sparano and how much Chad Henne sucks. Some REALLY great insight.

 

Alright, I just wanted to make sure that our 25th ranked defense had nothing to do with last season's collapse. But you've confirmed it was all about Henne sucking for one quarter in one game that cost us the season.

 

Losing to Buffalo, Detroit, and Cleveland at home isn't mediocre. It's putrid.

These guys deserve a chance to find a QB better than the one they were handed.

 

If the Big O says get rid of Sparano, I'd personally rethink my stance on it and say keep him.

 

Now see...this is what I don't understand about your argument Padre. Either Henne was a bad player and thus, you can't really hold Sparano accountable outside of staying with him. Or Sparano underachieved as a coach since, as you put it, the team underperformed. Which means that they have enough talent to be a contender, but the coaching staff ****ed it up. Which is it?

Also, how can you say this team had talent when Sparano butchered the o-line right before kickoff and decided to play musical chairs throughout the seaosn with the crap left over?Henne might not be the answer, but if anyone ruined "another" season, it is/was Sparano, not Henne.

 

What QB were they handed? Last I checked, they drafted Henne, they signed Pennington and they traded for Tyler Thigpen. If you want to add the failed draft of Pat white to their resume...I won't argue with you. The fact is, the current regime is to blame for the current team's failures. They have had three years and are going the wrong way just about everywhere on offense and special teams.

 

I have no idea what was said by Big O but I will say that many that are trashing him are fans of Leretard and the biggest idiot on the air waves Sid Rosenburg.
I'd take Big O any day over those 2 whether he's good or not.

 

Now, I will buy this for a dolla. Tard n a Burg suck but there are times when the Big O just rants way too much like he knows more than anyone. He used to be a lot more humble but the ego got to him a bit..

 

On top of it all...he knows nothing. He is TERRIBLE in his draft evaluation. TERRIBLE. He wanted Sergio Kindle at #12 and then wanted Jerry Hughes at all costs while citing that he didn;t think Wake was the answer for a full season.

I never understood why people complain about losing and their main justification is "we buy the tickets, the jerseys, and yada yada yada"... They're not paying for a championship, they're paying for a sporting event, merchandise, etc. I get the feeling that some fans have this larger than life feeling as if their hard earned money has some sort of indirect effect on the game.

The fact of the matter is, me going out to buy a game ticket to see the Dolphins isn't going to make them play better... or any team for that matter. If I go out and buy a Cameron Wake jersey, it doesn't mean he's going to go out and have a great game the next day.

The justification behind this is stupid. Just plain stupid.
