Marshawn Lynch has apparently pulled himself out of practice. It appears to be a back issue, but we’ll get an official update from Dick Jauron after practice. He was getting worked on by the trainers who were trying to loosen him up, but after a little work in individual drills he stopped participating.
Fred Jackson was taking the first team reps.

Wow, thats big news if he can't go this weekend.
-
Not to wish injury on anyone, but - obviously - if he sits, that's a big help for us.

That would be good news for the Fins although Jackson isn't a pushover. However one RB to deal with is always better than two.

yeah personally i think jackson is a more than adequate replacement if Lynch doesn't play... i wouldn't get too confident because of that...

Ahh dang it, that is my starter RB and QB out this week in Rd 1 of the Playoffs. Oh well it couldn't have happened at a better time as we need this win more than I do.
-
I know Jackson is good, but having to deal with one is much better then havin to deal with both Lynch and Jackson.

My dad always says this when we watch games together and an opponent's player gets injured: I hope he feels better on Monday!
So Marshawn, I hope you feel better on Monday!USArmyFinFan, anlgp, HULKFish and 7 others like this. -
hopefully he doesn't play.

Good. If Edwards and Lynch are both out, the Bills are a one-dimensional team with a mediocre-to-poor QB. If our D can't beat that combination, it can't beat anyone.

Hopefully he doesnt play... that increases our chances of winning this one for sure! hopefully lynch is good to go next week against whoever they play though

Marshawn after seeing him against the browns, was the only bill on offense who worries me. Like Gardenhead and his dad are bang on, get better on monday marshawn

Well, although Jackson is no pushover, and can do well against us, at least we don't have to worry about Lynch taking screens and dumps for 20+ yards like he's been doing all season. He is excellent at that actually, and with our mediocre tackling, that could have been a big part of the BUF game plan, especially if Edwards is out.
Lynch is crazy in space, and we've known to give up big plays and YACs, so yeah, Jackson is good, possibly very good, but Lynch would've hurt us more.BigDogsHunt likes this. -
Lynch is my biggest concern going into this game....back injuries are nothing to mess with.
His full absense, or simply reduced plays, would be a huge benefit to Miami IMHO! -

While it is a help to us, at the same time it might not be. Fred Jackson is extremely underrated and hungry to prove he is good. -
fred jackson is a beast. and as FAL put it, hes hungry. i heard the dude was living in his in-laws basement before he got his NFL break. he runs like a mad man
-
He had back spasms, so I'm guessing he'll be ok.
