Are they aware that football is a tackling sport?

Nalbone and Fasano should have nice games this weekend as Ayodele is dead slow..still have nightmares of the Texans BACKUP Te torching Ayodele and..Torbor..
I'm glad they did not pick up Charlie Anderson.
frozenfin, , Pandarilla and 3 others like this.
good for him....its not like he has Nolan's scheme as he wasn't there for it.

and Pandarilla like this.
Eh, Davis was bounced from Denver and Nolan's D and we had -0- interest in signing him, PP is a Fine player whose only real issue is being injury prone.
Ayodele more than likely will not play very much on the Bills "D".
Well, that is not neccessarily a good thing as Aaron Maybin will have the start and is far far more of a passrushing threat than Torbor could hope to be.

New coach, new defense (3-4) and a completely suspect offensive line with a journeyman weak armed QB at the helm? Throw in the injuries they have and I think that we have a recipe for things breaking Miami's way this weekend.
If we don't run the ball 30 times or so in this game, we are doing something wrong.
Depends on whether or not the Defence contains Spiller, Evans and Parrish, all 3 are explosive and game changing players.
The best scenario for the Dolphins is to stake an early lead.
I hear the Texans might let go of Morlon Greenwood soon.
The Bills run a 3-4 Cover 1 Robber base look this season, if I remember correctly. I know they've spent time at Saban's practices watching him and implementing stuff in to their own defense. I am curious if they will run some pattern reading. I want to see how Henne handles that.

Isn't that similar to the Pats defense? If so, Henne did alright for himself the 2nd time he saw it last season.
A little similar, yeah. Belichick uses it, not as a base IIRC. Saban is a Belichick guy so there are similarities. Only thing that I am not sure of is Belichick pattern reading. Belichick mixes in so many defensive concepts and coverages that its hard to keep up with him. Saban is mainly a Cover 1 and Cover 3 guy but he pattern reads with both and I know that for sure. The huge thing that will be interesting to watch is if Jairus Byrd is the single high safety IMO. If he is, I'd attack vertically a few times. He lacks foot speed so it could be an advantage.

Thanks!
Especially if Byrd is coming off of groin surgery. They might test him early and often to see if he can run anything down.
Possibly, good call.
If they go Cover 3, I'd attack it with vertical routes. Run a trips package or have a 2x1 set with a TE inline and then send all vertical, with possibly the tailback coming across the middle for a short pass, as a check down in case nothing's open deep. If they go Cover 1, rub routes IMO.
