It doesn't seem that Denver will be extending his contract after this year, due to his past legal troubles. Since McDanials seems to be turning over the apple cart. I would send over a 3rd round pick to them for Brandon. The guy is a tough guy to tackle and has a huge presence at 6'4 230 lbs.
Here is what a couple of Corners have said about Marshall:
Would you do it?

No way he would fit in with our WRs. Sparano doesn't seem to want a me guy, and frankly I think Marshall fits that bill.

Like his physicality, but not his maturity.
Didn't like his demeanor in the game against us or that Browns game.
He is a great receiver, though.
I'd like to see Joey Porter room with him on road trips. He can show Brandon his popcorn muscles.Larryfinfan, jason8er, PMZQ and 4 others like this. -
For a 3rd??
No question. If and When he grows up he is an elite WR. -
sure. we'll toughen him up
-
i wonder what conifucus thinks about this?
-
He's good but he's a lot like Pacman Jones. Eventually he is just going to get suspended again.
-
His on-field play is one of the best in the leagues. Unfortunately those off-field issues are a concern (though David Kircus's were as well I might note). If it's anything like what NE gave up for their headcase WR, I might do it.

for me, this is a no. Just like MAtt Jones... we dont need guys with character issues on this team. We were so successful last year because we played as a team. Everyone was playing for each other out there, and for the success of the team. Nobody was out after stats and personal records and junk like that... Marshall is incredibly talented... no doubt about that, but no way he's worth the risk IMO

Was that an accident :shifty:
I think that was an accident :shifty:
No, that wasnt no darn accident :shifty:
Gotta agree with the consensus. No how, No way. Parcells basically did everything he could to keep one out of Dallas...we all know how that turned out.
What exactly is it with these prima-donna ME FIRST WR's? Its like a freakin AIDS epidemic or something. :pity:Bpk likes this. -

All this makes Larry Fitz that much more of a man in my book. If anybody ever gets the chance to catch him talk live, I STRONGLY suggest it. He is such an incredibly great guy, off the field as well as on. -
He's the type of WR we need. I'd consider taking a gamble on him

I say "Do It". (with an accent from a movie that i can't remember) lol

Uhhmmm. By CJ you dont mean Chad Johnson do you? I would put him at the very top of the "I'm a Turd, please come look at me" list.. :pity:Regan21286 likes this. -

No. A thousand times. No. I don't want a guy that is more than likely going to end up missing a chunk of the season because he's a dumb *** thug that can't keep his **** straight off the field.

In a second. 1200+ yard receiver. Huge and only 24 years old. Imagine him and Ginn and Camarillo or Bess out there. Just get him a baby sitter.

I kind of figured these responses would come up. I for one don't see him as a huge liability compared to his on field success. The guy is a pure football player and a game changer. He is a beast. So the guy can't get along with his girl friend, he ain't no Chris Brown that's for sure. Even Chambers had a domestic problem.
If he gets away from the immature Cutler and comes here with the exact opposite maturity wise, Pennington at the helm it may do him some good in the growing up department off the field.
You want to see some YAC! Here is some YAC!

I'm torn. On one hand, it kind of alarms me that Joey Porter was able to describe Brandon Marshall to a T. On the other hand, he is a great receiver and we did take a gamble on Kircus....

awesome video. He would make any QB look incredible. that was some amazing yacage!

If all it takes is a third, we should definitely be interested... just one phone call between the Tuna and Marshall, BP would find out what he's made of in about 5 minutes. Now, Marshall was referred to as the "Baby TO" back when he was coming out for the draft, more for his play on the field rather than what he did off the field.

if he can find that much trouble to get in in frigid Denver, just imagine what he could get himself into in South Beach... i'll pass on him.

its hard to get in trouble when your probation officer is Bill Parcells. -
Yes to Marshall.
I would love to see what Pennington could do with his accuracy and short to medium passes going to Marshall. The guy breaks tackles like a running back. He would be a great influence on Brandon. -
how much of a possibility is this? is he a FA?
-
The most frustrating WR in the league for me.
He's a keeper on my fantasy team and is currently driving me crazy with his off the field bull****.
If he could just get his **** together then I would say we should go after him without a doubt. But, he just cannot seem to stay out of trouble and is staring at another suspension for prob 4-8 games this year. I duno if I even want him on my fantasy team anymore. -

^^ Yea, that.
Even though everything got dropped the next day, they still arrested him and took him to jail. Goodell is gonna look at that and drop at least 4 games on him IMO.
I'm gonna be pissed if that happens too bc it looks like Lynch is gonna slide with only 1 or 2 games for much more serious incidents (per rotoworld). -
-
I guarantee you he can't be had for a 3rd round pick.
Also, again, I'll bring up just like I did with Matt Jones, does no one remember the Marshall/Porter feud?
Brandon Marshall wont be a fin. Not for a 3rd round pick. Not for anything. God I can't wait for training camp to start so that these useless threads can cease to be.azfinfanmang likes this. -
