this will be fun, but sometimes I can't stand the hypocrisy of the NFL. they supposedly look down on all the profane talk and unsportsmanlike conduct, and then they go and mic up a player who's been in the middle of a so-called "War of Words" against a bitter rival where you KNOW the game will be chippy, and then they'll use the soundbites to pimp the NFL.

yeesh. it's like the highlight reels of all the bone-crushing hits (that are all penalties now)

My favorite part of the game was when Reggie literally punched Cromartie in the mouth! Would love to hear the audio for that!

 

To Tony's credit, he lost his weight the old fashioned way. Exercise and diet. Rexy took the path of the lazy and undisciplined, with the lap band surgery. Apparently he didn't have the will power to do it on his own like Tony did.

 

FTR, lap band surgery does not automatically equal lazy or undisciplined.

I'm sure its laziness in Rex's case though, cause look at that gelatinous hillbilly. You just know dinner at his house plays out exactly like the one in Will Ferrel's NASCAR movie, just with more food. The only reason that sloppy bastard gets off on feet is because its the only erogenous zone he can put in his mouth.

 

The same path he has taken in trying to win a Super Bowl.

 

I'd bet my bottom dollar there is no way possible that Rexy can actually get either of his own feet anywhere close to his mouth.

 

It's too bad to see someone waste their talent like that. Rex, as much as we like to rag on him, is actually a very smart defensive tactician. It just gets overshadowed by the negative parts of his personality. When he gets fired someday as head coach of the Jets, some other team will quickly hire him as a DC, and he'll go back to fielding top defenses, and remain out of the limelight, where he should be.

It would be great if they showed what he said to Rex but I bet they take that part out.

I agree to an extent, but they only choose the relatively G rated clips. Just like Hard Knocks, we're only getting the approved version, not the real meat and potatoes of what's going on.

If Reggie and Rex used language that wouldn't be found on Nickelodeon, we sure aren't going to hear that audio.
