That was an incidental hit. I guess the league needs to go back and fine Zach Thomas his entire retirement fund for the hit he put on Peyton Manning, which was a textbook tackle which also cost Manning several stitches to his chin.

**** this league anymore (I know..not my money, so why should I care). So Bowman gets penalized, tape gets reviewed, clearly a clean hit, fine him anyway. Wake doesn't get penalized, tape gets reviewed, shows he hits Cam in the chin while being blocked, and here comes the fine. Kuechly almost decapitates Mathews, and nothing.

I don't know if the players union can do anything about this, but it's getting absurd.

 

That hit almost won the game single-handedly. Would have been well worth it

All week leading up to our game I debated those panther fans about newton from the pocket, I stated over and over he's got that special escapability trait, and that it would be interesting to see how far a Qb can get playing like that, but that he's also completely overrated, and cannot get it done in this league from the pocket unless he has those legs..I think he proved me right..

Color me unimpressed.

Now, if Keuchly... or whatever isn't fined... then this whole "player safety movement" by the NFL is complete bull****.

If Keuchly is fined the NFL is essentially admitting they blew a game changing call. We all know how much the NFL likes to admit they are wrong.

 

I thought the Keuchly hit may not have been helme-to-helmet. I watched the various game angles, and came away thinking it was inconclusive; which, IMO, should not have been a non-call. If the NFL is to err on the side of player safety, the flag should have stayed on the field.
