it's old news but always worth another read.
anytime you have players calling their coach a coward..... you got problems.

just seems like everyone was questioning everyone.

Yeah, I went page by page back into the archives and finally found it.

Even did two prepost searches and nothing came up on it.

Hate when that happens.

Wow, that sucks for Cam. It wasn't the first time i herd these things but just reading it all over again kind of confirms that maybe Cam was in way over his head.

did he really say Traylor was "probably intoxicated".......whata quick assumption to throw out there.

I think Cam was intoxicated all season long.

Yeah, now looking back, with the undertow of increasing turmoil, hard to imagine how we even managed to beat the Ravens.

We didn't, they beat themselves. They practically had that game in the bag. Bad decision at the end gave us a freebie.

Cam deserved it IMO. I know players shouldnt call out coaches, and the coaches that are respected are never called out. But Cam dug his own grave on this one. He just stood up, didnt defend himself, what the heck did he think was going to happen... He HAD to have known he wouldnt be back. At that point i think it was common sense that he'd be fired, especially when parcells took over. I would even bet Parcells interviewed some of the players and when he found out what they told him Parcells mind would have been made up

We beat them but it was probably the luckiest win we ever got. Troy Smith completed a pass to the WR that was about a few inches outside of the endzone. Billick could have called a QB sneak and they would have won the game. Stover too missed what is normally a chip shot field goal.

IMO, no matter how you slice it, Baltimore would have won that game had they gone for it and Billick gave us that one. They go for it on that 4th down and nothing, nothing in my mind right now tells me we would have stopped them. Cam probably sent Billick some flowers or something for that one. Billick handed us that win wrapped up with a bow

That Porter had the audacity to call someone else a coward never ceases to amaze me. Any man who feels he needs to bring all of his buddies with him to help him fight has no business calling ANYONE ELSE spineless or cowardly.

You don't have any idea what led up to this, do you?

None of us do...

He might have tried to injure his knees in a game, he might have gauged his eyes or other parts of his body...

I'm pretty sure that SOMETHING led up to that fracas. Porter didn't just spin the roulette wheel and decide today I'm going to assault someone in broad daylight on camera in a casino. There must have been something that was done that led up to that event.

Passing judgement can be tricky that way, IMO it's always best to get the facts on your own or suspend judgment.
