-- WR Marlon Moore has caught my eye a couple of times because he's moving a lot faster than I remember.
- Reggie Bush is in the house, but he's not allowed to practice
-- OT Jake Long, DT Chris Baker, OG Garrett Chisolm are not working today.

My biggest concern for training camp this year is that player-injuries will be up due to the lockout (long break from conditioning and football drills for a lot of lazier players).

this one is for padre....
-- Totally missed the fact Kory Sheets isn't on the roster, or the practice field.
edit....ok padre relax....
-- Kory Sheets tweeted that's he hasn't been waived, and that he can't report to camp until 6 p.m. as an exclusive rights free agent -

Annoying that our rookies aren't in camp yet. I'd like to see Pouncey start forming some time with the OL. He needs every bit of time he can get.
Also, I'd like to see Daniel Thomas in there with Gates. Henne and Gates could use the time. -
Maybe Sparano being desperate means he will be willing to take more chances and takes his coaching to a whole new level -

The noose might be tighter around Sparano's neck, however the noose is on every coaches neck. This is a "what have you done for me lately" league. The only coaches in the last ten years that really have been given immunity were Cowher, Fisher and Shannahan. In the last two season two of them have been fired. -
-- Marlon Moore is leaving practice early with a mild strut. I'm guessing cramps. It's hot out here.
-- FS Reshad Jones just pulled in an interception during the final team period of practice
- Rookie QB Pat Devlin just made a respectable 20-yard pass to Phillip Livas. Problem is he doesn't have 7 seconds to throw the ball. -
There's a reason the O/U at Vegas has us at 6.5. Sure, their lines aren't gospel and I've been critical of Sparano's game management in the past. But to expect the guy to win in the AFC East and with Chad Henne/Matt Moore at the helm is not just a tad bit unfair - it's asking a perfectly good Volvo to outrace a sports car. I fail to see the point in putting such pressure on a coach that has one of the youngest teams in the league, a new OC with little time to prepare, plays in one of the toughest divisions in football and has a question mark at quarterback. Yeah, maybe it'll make him risk more (though in my experience, conservative thinking people grow even more conservative if you turn the screws), but even 8-8 would be a success story this season. -

Is anyone going to camp this year?

-- Karlos Dansby said he's going to be keeping an eye on Chad Henne. "Body language says a lot about a player."MrClean likes this. -

Where do they find these guys? -
Evidently Brandstater was all over the place today so you never know...
-
- Decent pass from Chad Henne to Brandon Marshall in the middle of the field during 7-on-7. Nice to see him not check down. -
I fully expect Henne to win this QB job. If he doesn't itll be a loooong year.
