Penningtons leadership is his best quality IMO.He is a coach on the field and I am fairly confident he will end up coaching in the NFL at some point.

The second half of seasons traditionally have been very taxing for past Dolphin teams.
I think this year will be different .The players are very well conditioned and they have managed to stay relatively injury free. -

Whatever Pennington provides, game management, field leadership or whatever, its certainly something the Dolphins have lacked for a long time. He certainly is a good mentor for the young quarterbacks as well.

:drools: is anyone else thinking about henne learning from pennington in the back of their mind with the plus side of not having two shoulder surgeries? (sucks chad had to have them)..
penny is an awesome QB and I think he brings veteran decision making and coaching ability (namely the one I can think of is reading coverages and QB/offense relationship and QB/WR relationships) to this team. A "coach on the field". -
The thought of that alone makes me secure in the dolphins future. I just hope that Henne is attached to Pennington absorbing every bit of knowledge possible. It's got to be hard for Henne to sit and watch Matt Ryan do what he's doing. Hopefully this makes Henne eager to prepare even harder to succeed. Have there been any articles on Henne and Penningtons relationship? -
On your last link, we need to figure out what were going to do with Wilford. I believe the trading deadline passed by now correct?
