SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Chargers go into their home opener against Baltimore with concerns on the offensive line after center Nick Hardwick (FSY) and rookie right guard Louis Vasquez (FSY) were hurt in Monday night's win at Oakland.
Hardwick sprained his left ankle and Vasquez sprained a knee in the 24-20 comeback win, the Chargers' 12th straight against their biggest rival. Running back LaDainian Tomlinson (FSY) also sprained an ankle.

The news got much worse today as the club announced that nose tackle Jamal WIlliams, the linchpin in the 3-4 defense, will miss the remainder of the season. Nose tackle is the most difficult position to fill in this scheme, and few have done it better than Williams over the last decade.Conuficus, gafinfan and azfinfanmang like this. -

Crazier things have occurred in the NFL. If they are the best of the 4 teams at avoiding key injuries, then it could happen. -
you can't get much luckier than that (if they're all out for the game, that is).
