Your Sanchise managed a QB rating of 56 this weekend although its a bit inflated. The 2 almost interceptions kept kept it up there.

sanchez and the offensive line sucked. its going to be a long year for the jets. if it wasnt for the fact that Vernon Gholston had a very good game it would have been a total disaster of a game

in 2008, matt cassell had a horrific preseason, against second and third stringers, and after brady went done, did just fine

Ok, then that counts for all teams, all i heard from your first pre-season game was about the weather and not to worry about it, its just pre-season.

Its ok. The Jets have already won the Superbowl. Playing the games is just a formality. Sanchez totally sucks on purpose. The O line is sucking also. Its Rex Ryan's super secret strategy.azfinfanmang, anditsgood and Sethdaddy8 like this. -

I found this interesting. This is from Tim Graham's blog on espn.com. Tim has been one of Sanchez's more vocal supporters arguing with many that he will be the second best QB in the east this season. Not that Tim Graham is a scout or anything.
When I saw Sanchez at SUNY Cortland, I could justify the occasional mistake, considering he's playing against the NFL's top-rated defense from last year. But the more I see of him in preseason games, the less encouraged I am that he has figured it out. He's way off target and telegraphs too many throws. He also seems to have some rookie panic still in his game.Click to expand...Frumundah Finnatic, unluckyluciano and texanphinatic like this. -

Im so glad that this board is turning in Finheaven, i thought this was a board that was going to not try and go down that road...Click to expand...
I mean seriously, your coach is such a loud mouthed, fat bastard..his own mother publicly spoke against him...and he ATE THROUGH HIS STOMACH BAND! Who does that? What kind of undisciplined, hippo-slob do you have to be to achieve that?
But its cool...keep talkin, keep playing the way you play, and it will all work itself out. While we stay beneath the radar...and our coach loses 60lbs the old fashioned way...discipline. These men act as an example of their team. The quick easy and loud way...vs the right way.Larry Little, Frumundah Finnatic, Section126 and 9 others like this. -

Myself I haven't posted at FH for a pretty long time. It's not a bad site and I like some of the people there but for the most part lets just say this site fits me better.
With that said I have yet to find a single Jets board where I can post anything without getting attacked by 98% of the posters.
Like you I enjoy visiting other team sites. I find it gives me an easy way of finding out about anything newsworthy that might be going on as well as allow me to put my finger of the pulse of a rival team. :knucks:Sethdaddy8, Mainge, Frumundah Finnatic and 6 others like this. -

I think Jets fans have to understand that the Jets have a huge target on their back and anytime the Jets do something wrong it is going to be magnified. Mostly because of Rex, the media, and *some* of the fans. When the organization talks bigger than the Super Bowl champion Saints, you just know people are going to pounce on them for every little thing. You have to admit they are the biggest talking team in the NFL, and one of the biggest in all of sports.
Last year there was very little of this, and I don't remember anyone talking about Jets pre-season games, maybe a little. There were little things like the Channing/Rex thing and the "I won't kiss Bill's rings" thing that got fans going, but just the normal banter. This year it's completely different with Rex claiming that they will be the champs, or are already the champs as he wrote on the bus, plus all the media stuff, plus the reality show. That's why so many people are making fun of them for every small thing, not just other AFC East fans.
Last year before the fins-pats game in NE, Porter was running his mouth that week and then he had a horrible game, and Pats fans let him have it afterwards. This is like that, but 10x bigger.Rocky Raccoon likes this. -
Jets will be a tuff team no 2 ways about it. Superbowl champs? I doubt it, but anything can happen once you're in the playoffs.
Other than the Colts, and arguably the always under performing Chargers, I don't think anyone else is a lock for the playoffs in the AFC. -
An honest look at the JETS team is that your defense will be top notch but your QB is not a strong point and imvho he never will be. To be on a team that plays in the snow, cold, and winds of NY invites disaster imho given your guys lack of arm and accuracy issues. The same can be said of Edwards in Bills land.
As for Rex himself it might be best if he would just shut up and let his team play speak for him. He maybe a good defensive coach but his mouth makes him look and sound like a fool. Jmo of course.:shifty: -
i know chad bounced back week2 but he didnt set the world on fire in his first outing, could be stats similar to what the sanchize had

Sanchez's accuracy has been a glaring problem in his 2 games, with the DBs he's been facing having the drops.
I'd put my money on the dolphins WR/TEs hands to improve (oh, already did in game 2!) over Sanchez's accuracy improving, but we'll see.Frumundah Finnatic likes this. -

Stats are deceiving. Henne hasn't thrown any nearly intercepted passes in 2 games like Sanchez has been doing, and Henne's receivers had a serious case of the drops in game 1.

My guess is the Jets will do the same thing as last year, which is let Sanchez air it out at the beginning of the season, realize his interceptions are killing them, and then limiting him to 15-20 passes a game.
It's obvious they want to be a pass-heavy team, but there's no way he's capable of that. -

But when you play in conditions that are excellent and you stink the place up, that definitely makes a difference. -

Sanchez's problem is that he simply does not learn from his mistakes, he throws a pick six in the first game and what does he do in the next outing? He damn near gift wraps 2 passes to the other team.
