This is a scary game because they have nothing to lose, look for them to go for it on 4th downs, trick plays, just anything and everything. It's scary.

Hey has anyone noticed a trend lately on our punt returns, where our guy blocking the gunner moves towards the line of scrimmage as an extra rusher, leaving the gunner all by himself? I've seen that a handful of times the last few games, and on occasion the gunner comes in to block, but other times he's all by himself when the punt occurs. I can't believe no one has taken advantage of that against us and just had the punter throw it out to the open gunner.

 

There are a lot of players/coaches on both teams that should feel like this game is for their jobs and livelihoods. It is.

Pretty sure I haven't, but thanks for the snarky response. My point to the post goes to everyone on this forum who thinks that Geno Smith sucks and it's the typical Jets and that we're just going to Sun life and march to a win. This is going to be another game that is going to be decided in the final minutes, don't let our first game against them fool you.

 

I just can't see them scoring. Geno is about half the QB Lewis is....which is sad. Their run game could present some problems and the offense better come to play.

However if ee can score, especially early on, we should win.

The first game was such a fluke that it was the second straight game the Jets didn't score a TD against us.
