Per Adam Beasley... I wonder who was cut?
He was a pretty solid performer for us in preseason, hopefully his hands are as reliable in actual games as they were before.

shelby ? just a guess
edit: never mind, i forgot he is suspended by the team and does not count against the 53 -
Supposedly Gibson has missed time due to an unknown injury.

Good move, he should not have been cut to begin with imo.

The Miami Dolphins have signed wide receiver Damian Williams, the team announced. To make room on the roster for Williams, the team has waived running back Orleans Darkwa. The team also has announced the exemption for safety Reshad Jones has been lifted. -
Orleans Darkwa has been released according to Barry Jackson, that looks like good news for Moreno
-
Sad about Darkwa. Hopefully he makes it to the ps.
-
Too bad for Darkwa that we're crowded at RB at the moment. I too hope no one scoops him up so we can stash him on the ps.

I don't think Gibson wants to be here these days as his playing time has been cut in favor of Landry. Not saying that's the reason for his absence, but just the vibe I've been getting from him. He looks miserable this season.

Gibson's unfortunate injury could give Matthews more time in the game. I don't know what's going on but when he gets his chances, usually he does some good things. Landry on the other hand, is made of Teflon. His mistakes have done nothing to affect his playing time.

Call me crazy but I would like to see Darkwa put on the practice squad and converted to safety. The first time I saw him play he just looked like a SS to me. He is a very good athlete. I hope he doesn't end in Canada.

Philbin said in his presser that Williams will be returning punts.
As for Gibson, he's played 50% of the snaps so far. I'm guessing his injury didn't full heal and he's having trouble getting separation. Too bad, he was really good for Miami last year. -

I think our wide recievers as a whole have been pretty underwhelming this year aside from Wallace. Hartline isn't near his same production, Gibson isn't doing what he was doing last year. I think this new offense has went away from some of the strengths of our recievers. The seam for Gibson and the deep out for Hartline were where they really excelled last year. With this offense designed for Tannehill to get rid of the ball quickly I dont see those routes being used as often. Same with Clay and that seam route he was good at the past couple years. Our personell doesn't really match up with what Lazor wants to do with this offense in my opinion. It uses a lot of speed as the main ingredient to success which is why Wallace is doing well but everybody else seems to be struggling.
