Welcome to this morning.

Lebatard as always is an attention whore...

He turns down an inordinate amount of media opportunities.
Also turned down moves to New York and larger markets just to stay in Miami.SICK likes this. -

I worked with the man for months, hes far from a goof or clown or attention whore. If so, he would've been in a top 3 market years ago. Hes very comfy where he is. And makes fat stacks doing it too.
MikeHoncho and Section126 like this. -
The guy that should have his vote taken away from him is Ken Gurnick, not Le Batard. Gurnick decides that he's not going to vote for Greg Maddux because he won't vote for players who played in the steroid era, but he's going to abstain his vote when it is time for Mariano Rivera to be elected so Rivera can an unanimous selection to the HOF.
Greg Maddux was the best pitcher of our era, and he did it while not having great stuff.Mainge, muscle979, MikeHoncho and 2 others like this. -
Well..to be fair..the best pitcher of our era was pedro martinez...in fact..of ANY era.

The baseball writers association is a joke plain and simple.

Again, I'm not from FL..so I think he is a loud blowhard. Just my opinion from afar. -

If you don't (and haven't before he went national) listened to the man's show, I guess could see how somebody would think that. However, like Desides, Section and Sick mentioned before me - he is opposite of attention whore. He is a legitimately good dude, IMO, and often get's labeled as a contrarian just because he talks about some **** that other people don't really want to talk about. Race, mainly but not for sake of stirring **** but having legitimate conversations with athletes and whatnot.
