Ive said as much for a month now...and while how they do without eachother will say alot, who the hell calls Tanny a "dud"? Pretty much nobody. The hyperbole is real while the premise is not.

IMO Wallace's success or failure in MN has no bearing at all on Tannehill. I think its quite possible that Wallace has a good year in MN because he fits their scheme and Bridgewater better than he did Miami's and Tannehill has a good year in Miami because he new WRs fit this offense and his strengths better.

Dave is wrong about Teddy B. Tannehill's arm is stronger than Teddy's and Teddy isn't a great deep ball thrower. Nor is Wallace a great deep ball wr, outside of his speed. Wallace won't be any better in Minnesota.

And how Wallace fairs in Minn WILL certainly impact the ongoing discussion about the deep ball and whos fault it is. People think Mike is a bad deep ball wr has a snall

Thought it was mutually beneficial trade in Wallace. Boy, does he take a dump on Cleveland. Hartline works better in rythmn; i.e. starting. He struggles when thrust into action. Same for Gibson, imo.
I'm more concerned with red zone efficiency with Tannehill. Wins and losses, tbh...Don't really care about rankings and such. -

The Jennings-Wallace swap will definitely be interesting to watch. Jennings was Bridgewater's best receiver and Wallace was Tannehill's. Hartline went to a pretty unsettled QB situation, I think he's underrated but will probably fade away into oblivion. Gibson could put up some strong numbers in that dink and dunk offense. Stills put up some very impressive DVOA numbers in New Orleans with Brees, I fully expect those numbers to drop/plummet this season.
Speaking of Bridgewater I think last years QB class was a strong one and at least 2 QBs will emerge from it as great ones:
-in only 13 starts Bridgewater has already matched Tannehill in career games of 10+ AY/A and Bridgewater has one of 11+, something Tannehill has never done.
-Carr looked impressive in that opening drive in the London game. This will depend on Carr somewhat but I predict Amari Cooper is going to be an absolute beast.
-Mettenberger played 6 full games and put up an 88+ passer rating in 4 of them. If I were the Titans decision maker I would have drafted Coopr and rolled with Mettenberger.
-my darkhorse QB from that class is AJ McCarron. All in all he put up the best college passing stats of all time, and won a championship game to boot. If he ever gets the chance to start for whatever reason, like Brady, he may never look back.
-then you've still got high draft picks Bortles, Manziel and Garrapollo, none have done anything of note but there is a reason they were high picks.
Its really a travesty we didn't solidify our backup position from that draft. Instead of paying Moore $6 million to ride pine we could have had McCarron or Mettenberger for Arthur Lynch. Still pisses me off...Fin-Omenal likes this. -
Agree 100%, ecspecially on Mett. The Titans want to be "excited" so they took Marcus. Whoever gets Mett in a trade will get a better qb than ppl realize, assuming he stays healthy.
