Well, the Chargers are banged up, the Broncos are coached by my least favorite NFL Coach.
Big picture, it is in the Dolphins interests if the Chargers lose as a win moves them into the Wildcard Derby.
Not a single player I care about on either team, except Kyle Orton but that is more due to Orton being so underrated as a Qb.

You know...if I was building a team around one QB, it would probably be Philip Rivers. He's got a funky delivery, but I love his passion, and I love his leadership. Dude just wants to win. Reminds me of Marino in many ways. Well, except for the delivery. :wink2: -

Loved the "that is Kory Sperry's first catch ever" stuff, he was in Miami last season and had a Td iirc, I know he caught some passes at least.

I'm a long time Rivers' fan. I remember getting attacked on the boards when I said that we should draft him in the 2nd round and that he was worth a 1st. This was real early in the draft process so no draft publications had come out and nobody had heard of him. The few websites that had posted any draft boards had him as a 3rd round prospect but I was sure that when the team evaluations started to leak out that he would shoot up. He reminded me of Bernie Kosar while in college. Now he reminds me most of Marino. I was glad when they showed that comparison to Marino during the game since I thought I was the only one who thought that. While Rivers' release is quick, it's not quite as quick as Marino's was. Marino also had more velocity on his passes. But Rivers reads defenses better and has better eye discipline. They both have similar fiery personalities and awkward running motions yet are instinctively able to buy time in the pocket.
I have Rivers among my top 5, although when I say top 5 I mean it as "elite" rather than a strict numerical designation. I actually have 7 guys who fit up there in that group who can put a team on their back. In no particular order they are P. Manning, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Rodgers, Roethlisberger and Vick.
