Thank you Lucas for your vision, now its time for someone to perfect it again. Im very happy about this. Lots of potential now that he won't have a stranglehold over the universe. A good director and cast can churn out quality

in all seriousness though, they'd be wise to either take it back to almost campy days (which is probably nearly impossible now) or to change the feel altogether like the new Star Trek movie(s). That episode 1-3 stuff isn't gonna cut it -

Old Republic stuff is always cool. In the end, the books are just the books. Lucas didn't write them. They aren't "canon."
It may be that they pick the story up somewhere after the events of RoTJ with Luke, Han, etc. Who knows. -

I'm pretty excited by this. I think getting Lucas out of the picture and bringing in next sets of eyes and ideas can't be a bad thing and obviously with that 4 billion dollar price tag Disney is commited to the franchise. I just hope they don't rush Episode 7, I want them to take their time to develop a good story, if that means the movie won't be ready until 2016 or 2017 so be it.

Awesome not only movie wise, but brings the star wars world to life at the theme parks. Can't wait!
