Yes, dream big. I can't wait to get our pass rush team Wake/Jordan on the field. It will happen this season with a healthy DJ!

Did Armando Salguero just report that he's "been told" that Dion Jordan wants to better in 2014 than 2013 and then spin it as news!?

Maybe last season humbled him a little bit after being able to coast on his athletic ability his whole life? -
That's what I want to hear! Now let's get Mosley in here and make this a top 5 defense!
I keep flip-flopping between offense and defense in the first round, but I made up my mind, I want Mosley for these reasons:
1) This defense is a good MLB away from being great. Let's make the most of Wake's, Grimes' and Starks' last few years of productivity. With Mosley in at MLB, we are solid at all positions on defense, with maybe the only question mark being CB opposite Grimes.
2) With the addition of Albert, Smith, Moreno, and most importantly, Lazor, our offense is already much better than it was last year. OL can be had in the later rounds, and even WR for depth.
3) If Tannehill is indeed the QB we've been waiting for, he'll make the offense better either way, and we'll eventually have a top offense... next season he'll have everything he needs to succeed, even without the addition of playmakers through the draft. If he is NOT the answer at QB, then the addition of playmakers won't make too much of a difference and we'll need a top-notch defense anyway (see: Stafford, Dalton). -

Having him in the building, especially of his own choosing, can only be a good thing. Having Wake there as an excellent role model is another. The D Line group as a whole should have about the most solid group of veterans and leaders on the team, so hopefully that can all help push Jordan to make the most of himself. We can only hope the staff uses him the right way too.

Last year we were a Branden Albert away from making the playoffs and we've kept all of our offensive weapons and are changing up our offense with Lazor. The one thing that concerns me is WR depth because of all the injuries, but that can be addressed in the third day of the draft, IMO. -
Big fan of Caraun Reid if you can get him in the later rounds, if you go thru the combine thread you'll know how I feel, great body, dude blew that #### up.. -
I'd be shocked if Wake doesn't have him completely yoked in the next year. -

I know Jordan didn't play many snaps last year, but some of the few snaps he played showed a pretty big impact. The one that sticks out right now is the pressure on Matt Ryan that led to the game-clinching INT. It was good to see the D snuff out a comeback attempt like that (felt like it had been a few years), and it was good to see Jordan making a difference.
Now if he can play more and still make that impact on a consistent basis, the sky's the limit for him. It's good to see him in early and working.djphinfan likes this. -
I know he was injured, and rehabbing all offseason, not able to work out to improve, also, not be able to attend any minicamps because of his college rules, and I would bet money he re injured that shoulder in the browns game..I just hope it's healed and won't shred at first sign.
The times where I saw what Dion Jordan's skillset could bring to the game of football is when he lined up a middle linebacker..
I am worried about the injury being a reoccurring one, but his potential will give me tremendous hope.DPlus47 likes this. -
Not sure it's the best use of a pick but I still fantasize about getting Donald; I think he will be a league stud for years. -
