I used to take Whey Protein w/Creatine after I lifted for awhile and it did put a little more bulk on me. Havent used it in quite awhile. Anyone else do any cycles of taking it on and off to keep your body from getting used to it?
I agree w/ regan. As long as your body has demands for that extra protein/creatine, it's going to use it. Once that demands lessens, whether through a change in your workout or whatever, the body tends to store the extra calories and flush the 'good stuff' out thru the kidneys. If you tend to cycle bulking and trimming phases, then yea, I would cycle my protein/creatine input in sync with that. Other than that, it's like eating chicken/fish for a couple of weeks straight- your body still takes and uses the nutrients, but sometimes you (mentally and taste-ily(?) just need a change.
