I do not know whether to laugh, or cry or shrug over this one...
Fun to consider, but realistically...not a chance.

Tony Sparano when asked if Tebow is an option "I'm not allowed to talk about other players on other teams, but any guy who can throw a football, and get in and out of his truck without limping, is somone we MAY be interested in. However, Chad Henne is our quarterback right now..."
this is a completely farsical post, it didn't happen, I have to put in this disclaimer because not everyone understands truth vs fiction -
Heh, Dolphins are the completely wrong situation for Tebow to land in, he needs time, and snaps, to learn what the NFL is all about and we need sooner production out of the Qb position then he could offer.
Thing is, unlike most, I do believe Tim Tebow can be a starting Qb in the NFL and have success in so doing, not as "some guy" playing Qb, but a top 15 type of Qb...if a team is willing to use him to his strengths and not highlight his shortcomings...which is the way the NFL works, if an OC likes a pocket passer, then you'd better be a good pocket passer or you are not going to play. -
Who wrote that, Skeet?
BTW, Tebow's Ideal situation is Philly, in that system with those fast wrs. As soon as Denver makes him available I bet Reid will be on the horn.Trowa and Fin-Omenal like this. -

So Denver was going to start Tebow, now he's available and we should pick him up? Who writes this stuff? Tebow is the last guy we want here. He can't play in the NFL right now and in Florida the fan base would be clamoring for him the second we got him. Its a problem in Denver, for some reason fans want the guy to play despite common sense telling you he won't be ready for a few years. The last thing we need is a stadium full of people chanting Tebow, Tebow everytime there is an INT.

It's funny to me because I remember hearing people saying some similar things about him before his sophomore season at UF, how he was just a runner and wouldn't able to be a full-time QB in the SEC. Well, he spent three full years kicking the most talented college football conference in America's ***, and I think it would be foolish to bet against him at this level as well.
People also said similar crap about Vince Young when he came into the league. And really, the only thing that has held him back is his attitude and work ethic, neither of which are problems for Tebow. I hope Henne works out, but it would be silly to dismiss the very idea of acquiring a first round pick who is very, very eager to prove people wrong. -

I think if I take a **** and send them a pic, that's headline news when it comes to the Dolphins.
"Unnamed Dolphin fan takes a crap. Poetic representation of his team? Details on 3A." -

Maude Lebowski: Does the female form make you uncomfortable, Mr. Lebowski?
The Dude: Uh, is that what this is a picture of?
Maude Lebowski: In a sense, yes. My art has been commended as being strongly vaginal which bothers some men. The word itself makes some men uncomfortable. Vagina.
The Dude: Oh yeah?
Maude Lebowski: Yes, they don't like hearing it and find it difficult to say whereas without batting an eye a man will refer to his dick or his rod or his Johnson.

Fret yee not, people. Tebow won't be available. Is Orton a better pure passer? Yes. But that's but a part of the game, especially as the game is evolving to a style more conducive to Tebow's talents. So Orton will shine in training camp drills where he just drops back and wings it. But when the real bullets start flying, we'll see who's playing. Seriously, why do you think that Orton was on the market in the first place. S**** and giggles for the Broncos' front office? I think not. They wanted Orton out and Tebow in. Do you really think that their assessment changed in a flash because Miami wouldn't overpay for Orton? Again, I think not. Wake up.
I said it last year, I'll say it again- Tebow's mechanics are not pretty, as we all know, but if you look beyond that you'll see why Orton had his bags pre-packed in Denver- Tebow's arm gets the job done. Look at the film from UF. Don't confuse mechanics with actual results. His throwing motion ain't pretty, but it's effective. The strength, speed, toughness, will to win, leadership, all of it- including the arm that gets the job done- led Orton to be unceremoniously kicked to the curb.
If Tebow were available at the right price now- hell yes I would take him. He won't be. I still think that Parcells, who unabashedly loved Tebow as an NFL QB prospect, would have taken him at #28 last year over Odrick, or at least he would have seriously considered it- I'd really like to hear him confirm or deny that. Lest we forget Tony Dungy called Tebow the best QB in the draft last year, and if I recall correctly the best overall prospect. Gruden iirc was right up there as well. Fret not, Tebow ain't going nowhere. If he were available for a decent price, I'd do it in a heartbeat. -

Eh, Tebow is a lightning rod for whatever reason, funny thing is, almost a page into the thread and all opinions, no one posted his stats from his 3 starts last yr...hmm...
I'll say one thing that bothers me about the anti Tebow line of thought:
"He will not survive in the NFL with that style of play"
Really? That is reason to not stick him out there and let him make plays and let the results speak for themselves? And it ignores the fact that most Qb injuries...happen in the pocket...not when the Qb is running.
Or
"His delivery is to long"
Hmm, but can he make plays throwing the ball? And wouldn't that mean he would figure to be a better deep ball passer? Why wouldn't an offense be tailored to fit that strength instead of being a instant weakness? The answer is NFL OC's don't do business that way... -
I have been through a lot with this team, if they bring Tebow here it would send me over the edge!

Let's be honest, a lot of people just don't like the guy. That's fine, whatever. But that shouldn't cloud your assessment of him as a prospect. He may never be a pro bowl guy, but no one should be shocked if he carves out a Steve McNair-esque career. -
It funny to me also. I read crap on Finheaven back in the day. Is this where we are headed............really?Trowa likes this. -
Not saying dolphins would ever get Tebow but why so much hate for the guy lol he put up 11 tds to 4 to's last season as a rookie and didn't play that much 82.1 qb rating seems pretty solid for a rookie to me.

This writer is off the wall, we have enough questions with Henne and Moore, to bring in Tebow..now...is simply nonsense, but will get his page hits up.huck1974 likes this. -

Tebow was a good college Qb, and we've seen a ton of those same types never make it in the NFL. Can he? He may just be but imo the team that has him as a starter will never be THAT good of a team...
I'd rather have Henne and I'm not a huge Henne supporter by any means -
TEbow sucks. Right now he's close to being third string behind Brady Quinn

If Jacksonville wants to sell tickets they would trade for Teblow.
