According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Dolphins are expected to announce their new head coach on Friday.
Joe Philbin and Todd Bowles sat down with the team's brass on Wednesday, with Mike McCoy wrapping up the second round of interviews on Thursday. The Dolphins refuted a report that there's a leader in the clubhouse, though we suspect McCoy is still the man to beat for the "next Don Shula," as owner Stephen Ross put it.

Calling it now, McCoy to HC, Bowles to DC.

I'm not sure if Bowles can be our DC. I know some people wanted to keep Cameron on as OC after his debacle of a season but there's some rule that states that you can't demote a head coach to a lower position, or something like that. I'm not sure the exact way it's worded I'm sure someone else will be able to clarify better than I have. Then again, I don't know if the same rules would apply for an interim head coach.

I have no idea why Carmichael would want to leave the Saints and all the offensive talent they have, for the Dolphins who have no true starting QB and who are very limited in regards to play makers on the offensive unit. I just don't see Carmichael being the next OC of the Dolphins. -

I heard rumors of McCoy brining Jack DelRio to be his DC. I'd like that.

Men like challenges. What doesn't make sense about that? -
So yeah looks like this is not happening anytime soon.
