It's been 10 months and he's only ALMOST one hundred percent?
Sweet Kwanzukka, I didn't realize his leg injury was that bad. That's more concerning than it is heartening.gafinfan and PhinGeneral like this. -

Fluff piece... He better pan out.
Arms were great at at PSU. That is the strength.
Without the feet we got issues. -
Hong Kong Phuey is a big boy, you can't teach size son, symmetrically balanced, well proportioned athlete at 300 lbs, that body will only get better..What you have is a large new prototype pass rusher with great hands..I expect him to be on the field with Wake and Starks in a 3 man rush for sure.?
1st round draft pick comin off the bench?..This line is serious, and this kid can play ball..
Damn we are a young big football team..dolfan7171 and Sceeto like this. -
Is it just me or does Pete Bommarito's gold chain scream, "Yes, I deal steroids, okay...Get over it!"

Getting a (hopefully) healthy Odrick and Edds back is like having 2 more draft picks with nfl experience (game film, locker room pressence, working out, work ethic) coming into the fold this year. It's very good!

Pretty much what I have been saying for months now. -
So......like I said.....we'd have a real good team. in the 1980s.............. -
-
Well that is what you can expect from a Sparano team, all based on old-fashioned 1980's grind it out philosophy. Dull, boring and defenseble. Teams have schemes figured out to stop that kind of offense, that is why they were abandoned with the 1980's. However Sparano never got that memo. :confused2: -
Let's set aside this assessment of the team to begin with, which is problematic in its own right... But what does "Old Fashioned" mean? Were there somehow not fast players then? What exactly do you mean by a "grind it out" offense?alen1, MrClean and Stringer Bell like this. -

How are they a team on the rise? Could be said if looking at the potential of some of their young talent. I find it interesting you can do that with the Bills but not Miami.Den54, Mile High Fin, Ozzy and 1 other person like this. -

Will be nice to have Odrick back....

Look forward to seeing a healthy Jared Odrick. I think he's going to be a fine player. I hope he adds a little pass rush off the end.

Nearly all of the consistent playoff teams, NE, Indy, Pitt, etc, all have QB's that run wide open offenses that give them the opportunity for the quick strike score. That is non-existent on our team. We'll see what Daboll comes up with but since he leaned so heavily on the run game last year in Cleveland, I expect that is what we will see here this year. If they can't get the run game going, we will be sunk early in the season.
