Peyton Manning met between 5 & 6 hours late today with #Dolphins coach Joe Philbin and other staff members in Indianapolis, per sources.

I never will click his twitter again. Too much Mort all up in your face.
Interesting though.305 likes this. -
If we met with him and didn't close the deal... we need to move on. WE CANNOT BE LEFT HOLDING THE DOOR looking for a QB.

Very interesting. In indianapolisIndianapolis Wow. They both leave Miami to meet in peytons old stomping ground. I guess they met in the last place anyone would think they would meet

This Secret Meeting has been brought to you by the Manning Mafia.

Over already? What happened to tomorrow? Anyways at least now maybe we know where we stand and either make an offer or continue our qb search elsewhere
-
This is either good news, meaning: They went over there to get the talking out of the way and sorta come to a preliminary agreement hours before Free Agency.
or....
Bad news, meaning: We get the meeting out of the way because we figured you weren't too interested in coming here, and this way we get the cat out of the bag and both parties can move on. -

the meeting was likely held in a hotel downtown Indy or even maybe at the stadium offices as a courtesy from Irsay, then they ate dinner at St. Elmo's Fire restaurant in downtown Indy, close to Lucas Oil Stadium. I've eaten there, incredible steaks, pretty famous place.

Where was Ross?
I'll speculate, when Peyton first arrived in S. Florida, Ireland mistakenly assumed he'd placed himself on Miami's doorstep, and (in mindless hesitation) decides he'll contact him in short order.
Meanwhile, invites are immediately fired off from Denver and AZ.
Manning, who openly admitted to not knowing what to do as a free agent, and with nothing else on his agenda but find a new team, immediately takes them up on their proposals, and boards the first plane out.
Ross (perhaps in private) goes ballistic.
After his meetings in Denver and AZ, and what seemed an eternity, Manning finally arrives back in Florida, but before the Dolphins can contact him, he departs off to Indy, with the Titans having cut in line to be next.
Ross, absolutely livid, instructs Ireland, and everyone else in earshot, that if they can't sell Miami, IN Miami, they'll sell it on the road pounding the Indy pavement.
They may have dropped the ball, but I doubt it was ever actually in their court to begin with. -
Well, we have been better on the road in recent history....

I just don't believe that this is not orchestrated by Manning... -
I'll take Moore. I think if Philbin can turn Flynn into something, he can turn Moore into something better.

this Peyton thing is becoming to muchof a dog and pony show and is too much like college recruiting. -

Watch us miss out on Manning, Flynn, and use our first pick on a lineman.
This place would explode. :lol:SuperMarksBros. and Fin-Omenal like this. -

I think from most to least likely right now,
Flynn
Tannehill
Manning
Wheeden
Personally my #1 choice is to take a rookie (either Tannehill or Wheeden) and see how they develop under the new coaching regime.
