Landry, at this point in my view, is pretty much automatic.
I want the offense to do well, but I don't want to hear about a bunch of missed tackles. No bad snaps would be nice, as it would make 2 practices in a row and show progress. For the offensive side I'm mainly hoping for minimal or no missed routes by the receivers or blown assignments on the line. My main trepidation about the year is how fast they can master the system.
I think our secondary is scary good. If Grimes doesn't fall off the planet, Jones plays somewhere between last year and 2012 (closer to 2012 would be awesome), and Finnegan/Delmas can avoid injury, man....I expect to hear about a few of those names today. If Tripp/McCain can keep at it and improve, I like the LB depth compared to previous.
Lastly I'd like to hear about Misi making the right calls at mike. He's show the determination and dedication that, to me, ALL players should strive to copy. I just hope it fully transfers to the field. -
A live report coming up on NFLN.

Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley
No Jenkins today. He had his leg wrapped yesterday. -

@AbramsonPBP 26s
Clay is limping off the field.
Mutha......................... -
@AbramsonPBP 8s
3rd-and-4 from the 23, Dolphins hand off to Daniel Thomas who only picks up 2.
Man I'm hoping one of the new kids can at least show some inside moves....Thomas needs to go.
@AbramsonPBP 8s
Lamar Miller 9-yard TD reception.
Miller/Matthews the stars of that drive..........well stars against #2's anyways ;p Or as Abram says it after Dion converts the 2pt:
@AbramsonPBP 11s
If every NFL defense is equivalent to the Dolphins' 2nd-team defense, Miami's offense will dominate. -
Hal Habib @gunnerhal
Most important thus far: Charles Clay is pacing back and forth on sideline, trying to walk it off. Just threw a towel against the bench. -
-
Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley
Clay still on the sidelines, but without a helmet. Would appear his day is done. -
what's with all the injuries
-
2nd team offense went 3 and out against 1st defense...so they are doing it again. Ouch lol.
Edit: Better start this time. Hoping this kid shows something. Screw D.T.
@JamesWalkerNFL 12s
#Dolphins backup RB Damien Williams, one of my sleepers, with a nice first-down run on the first-team defense.

Chris Perkins @chrisperk
Devlin inc...Jimmy Wilson called for interference vs. Thigpen. Nice pass by Devlin, put it where it needed to be. -
@JamesWalkerNFL 25s
Going back to Ryan Tannehill's TD throw to Lamar Miller, MIA's red-zone concepts on O are much better than a year ago. #BillLazor
I'll wait to hear from our guys here, if they are there, on that one.MikeHoncho likes this. -

Oh joy ;p -
Why is NFLN all overt Manzel. Why is that issue so important now. Why does Sports coverage suck A$$ How about showing live scrimmages around the league? Are they not capable of providing coverage of their sport? Obviously not.

They must have heard me. The NFNN is going to Miami Gardens where the DOlphins are scrimmaging after these commercials at 10:27 am on Saturday Aug 2, 2014.
The Patriots had 22,000 for a scrimmage last nite. Miami has 2000. Armando Salguero -

Another one bites the dust. -
Chris Perkins @chrisperk
Decent crowd, as it turns out. Much media debate on attendance, however. Have no good figure yet.
