That means 6 more to go, then whoever gets released for claiming Logan Thomas.

So he projects to be 291 with a straw hat and pina colada in 14 months.

Not really. If Dion Jordan didn't have to roid up, and if he simply played OLB instead of DE, he might have worked out.

Adrian Hubbard is a long shot. But it would be nice to have a 6'6", 257 lb OLB who can run down the field with TE Rob Gronkowski.

Lemme tell you a story about Sal. Sal is a guy who you hire to run your Dry Cleaning store. Except, you wanna make sure he does it your way, so you train Sal. Sal ends up ****ing it up and losing interest in the business. He disappears. A friend says, NO WORRIES! I have another guy just like Sal! His name is Sam! You hire Sam, and because you know the exact way you like your Dry Cleaning business to be run you train Sam too! You give him the exact same training as you did with Sal, because that's your approach to Dry Cleaning.

Let me ask you... if you hire a similar guy.... and you're the same guy who 'knew' what to do with the first guy who got screwed up, and apply your same mentality to training this second guy... what's the most likely outcome?

(By the way Sal is Dion Jordan... and in this case Chris McCain, who is bigger and more sluggish now, is Sam.... Hubbard will, I guess, be Stan. lol.)

Because he was waived/injured and went unclaimed he now is on our IR.

I don't think anyone said that their personalities, values, or drug habits were the same.

And we're definitely not applying the same mentality (having a guy roid up 20+ lbs, and have him play DE).

Adrian Hubbard is a free tryout, not a 3rd overall draft pick.

Pre-draft, Dion Jordan weighed 248 lbs, and Chris McCain weighed 224 lbs. They had to bulk up for the NFL (especially since we foolishly tried to make Dion Jordan a DE).

In fact, this is what Chris McCain looked like in college. He never had the legs or build to be a full-time SOLB.

seems to me like Mr dry cleaner owner should have had a drug testing policy before hiring if he has such specifics.
