DAVIE — It takes 53 men to fill the roster of the Miami Dolphins - and one finger to send them crumbling down.
That's according to the Dolphins, who this summer began telling fans not to use Twitter, blogs or video cameras to tell the world what the team is up to.

Didn't the Dolphins buy some practice tapes from a Patriot fan who recorded the Patriots practicing a year or two ago which helped us game-plan and beat them?

only makes good sense

While I fully see what they are trying to do as for as plays go they also admit that there are spys there. Laws only cover those who already obey them and in a way I'm offended that as a true fan who would enjoy rewinding a TC that I taped and watch it again for my own pleasure. That option is now taken away from me.
If they truly want to keep secret those plays that are so important just use the bubble and tell the reporters that its a closed TCP and they aren't allowed in.
One other thing needs to be said in reflection on this subject no matter if a play is known or not the team still has to execute it and the other team still has to stop it, JMHO thats why they play the game!!:wink2:
Besides is Harvey trying to say that that one play is the reason we won the division? Shame on you Harvey, we are a much better team than that!!:shifty::lol: -
Pretty easy..stop recording the practices, or they get closed.. I brought this up the other day as to the reason I "thought" they asked this of the reporters. Viewing practice isn't a "right", it's a privledge. One that can be revoked any time the team thinks it is hurting them. How could any real fan argue with that?

Open practices: Show what you want shown
Closed Practice in the bubble: Practice what you don't want seen.
There, I solved it!Rocky Raccoon, Nappy Roots, dolfan7171 and 2 others like this. -

But why should the team with it's already limited reps have to censure itself because some fans will not abide by the rules of no recording? The ONLY thing actually important here it the TEAM. Again, viewing practices is a privledge, give them a reason to not extend that privledge, and next year, there will be fewer practices open to the fans. A few can really screw it up for everyone else here. I want to see this stuff as much as the next guy, but having my team win is more important. If the team buys into Sparano, why shouldn't the fans.Themole, Ohio Fanatic, dolfan22 and 5 others like this. -

Yeah...she recoreded a play (like a trap up the middle) but i decided not to post it here, because I don't want to get on Tony's bad side

whats to keep other teams from sending scouts to view our practices and take notes?

My question would be, who says only Dolphin fans go to the practices?
I have gone to both Jet and Giant practices in the past, what's to stop me from posting something about there practices as a non fan?
It comes back to me as censorship.
If you don't want people to know, practice it in closed sessions, they did that with the Wildcat last year, nobody, and I mean nobody knew that was coming. -

Why are the not practicing it in regular practices now? Because they don't want anyone to know the new twists.
Its not something new, especially with a Parcells run team, they do things in secret, they have media blackouts, look at all the Parcells tree guys, they are all the same.
This is just a big smoke screen by the team trying to make everyone think we are running all the plays we are going to run during the season, they don't care if what the public sees is reported, they just want everyone to think they care.
Just my view on things. I could be wrong.cnc66 likes this.
