He'll pass through waivers and go on injured reserve. Sheets, who tore his Achilles' tendon on the morning of August 4, won't necessarily be brought back for the 2011 offseason. He was buried on Miami's tailback depth chart.

Why would it state they are unsure if he'll be brought back for the 2011 offseason if he just tore his achilles this morning? This is the 2011 offseason, and if he tore his achilles there's no way he'd play this year. And what, he tore his achilles during a walk-through? Or maybe on the way to vote on cba? Maybe during film review?
You don't find it odd that you're trying to pass on news that Kory Sheets suffered the exact same injury on the exact same date two years in a row?
