This got me thinking...I wonder if our fast paced offense will catch the Texans off guard? I was thinking similar to the Patriots when we unleased the wildcat. What do you guys think?

If they aren't expecting it after all the talk on hard knocks and the stuff done in preseason then someone should be fired there.
The wildcat came out of nowhere. This has been how we've been playing all preseason.dolfan7171 likes this. -
Sure would be great if Tannehill could get his first drive into the endzone. Super great if that TD could be a deep ball. Make a Cam Newton "Look the **** out NFL here I am" type statement.

Get the kid into the game, roll out left or right, give him the option to pass or run it if it's not there..
All Bess and Fasano all day.ToddPhin, dolfan7171, Moves and 1 other person like this. -
Take one out of the Wannstedt playbook. Run on first down. Pass on second down (incomplete of course). Run inside on third down. Punt. Repeat. Classic.

I've been calling for a first play of season flea-flicker for years.

1st drive, Tannehill shotgun, no huddle, Reggie Bush single back, Clay and Fasano flexed out, Bess and Hartline...Have fun.
This should be a blast to watch...I hope to see Tannehill make use of his speed.
No excuses for the defense. They should be just fine. I'm most interested in how good the new regime is at scheming, 2 minute drill, timeout management.
