Per Omar Kelly:
"In the real business world (just guessing here, since I’ve never actually been in it): If a qualified CEO becomes available and you’re just OK, but not completely content with the one you have, don’t other businesses try to lure that hot shot?
If your answer is YES then you would be taking the same approach that’s made Ross a major player in the real estate business, and billionaire. So what the NFL hasn’t typically done it? That doesn’t mean it’s not the way to do business.
Based on the little I learned about Ross this season he’d prefer to set the business model rather than follow one."

Except for the fact that because he didn't fire sparano or comply with the rooney rule that he might be losing Harbaugh now because he can't offer him anything.

For a guy who claimed he doesn't know football much when he bought the fins, this guy sure knows what a good football coach is.

Why not try something new? All the other ways didn't work. Good for Ross for doing it his way. Hopefully Ireland makes good "Business Decisions" and trades some of our players who don't fit for some draft picks. I would love to have about 10 picks per year like the Patsies always seem to have.

Is Omar reading our boards again? Someone here used this very analogy last night or this morning.

Anyone else feel like the first week of post-season has been more exciting than the regular season?
Why do I get the sense the next headline I read will be "Harbaugh to Miami as HC Done Deal! Until Ireland asked Harbaugh if his mother was a hooker." -
I understand that. I still cant find the humor in my first post though. I'm basically saying that Ross put himself in a bad spot and didn't go about getting Harbaugh in the best way because he risked losing him. -

Ross has owned the team these past two seasons and did nothing, letting Parcells and co. do everything with the on-field product, all he did was open the wallet. Well now Parcells bailed so I don't mind him doing something if we do get Harbaugh. This would be his first move pertaining to the team. If I spent a billion dollars on an NFL team and had to sit in Sun Life Stadium and watch them win only 1 game in their past 10 then I'd want to do something to shake things up also.

Wow, go figure, Denver wants in now.

Still funny?
