I don't think Chad P would be much of an upgrade over Trent Green in the "experienced QB" category. I also don't want McNabb here, or any other has beens who are just going to prolong the problem. We still haven't found the heir apparent to Dan Marino, and it's been nothing but subpar QB's since.

 

I don't see it happening. He doesn't really have a quality NFL arm.

For one thing there is no such color as Aqua Teal. Aqua is a shade of blue and Teal is a shade of green.
The Dolphins offical colors are Aqua and Orange (or Coral) btw, Izzy. :up:

First problem is Pennington I beileve is not going to be a FA. They will look to trade him to a team like the Vikings, not cut him and get nothing.

 

Personally I would be very surprised if Pennington comes here. Yes I know he has the Parcells connection but I highly doubt that Parcells would want him unless as a last resort.

 

God i hope not. Pennington would be just like Trent Green, always making that one bone headed throw that would cost us the game. There is a reason that he was benched this year and it's not because Kellen Clemmons is that great, it's because he's that bad.

Aren't we near the league bottom in yards per catch now? If I see another quick-out to the WR for two yards, or another five-yard dump-off on third and seven, I'm going to puke.

As has been said, we would have to trade to get Penny and that would probably have to include a draft choice. I highly doubt that Bill will trade a draft choice at this point. I think a better landing place for Penny mght be KC. They have an abundance of draft choices, a need for a QB (until Croyle developes or proves he is not injury-prone) and and ties to Penny (the Herminator).

 

I don't think we'll get Chad here...if he's gonna bring a veteran it should be a guy that has actually done something in the NFL and that can groom Beck instead of a guy that will not be happy siting on the bench helping Beck take the job.

Bill, I guarantee will bring in a quarterback veteran (not Trent Green).

Also, depending on what happens up in Cleveland between Brady vs. Anderson. With the high pick that the Dolphins possess, they can make a HUGE splash somewhere...ace in the hole Bill.
