No pun intended with my Sig haha. But seriously, first 3-0 since 2002. Can we keep it up and make the playoffs?
I only have about 50% faith this team wont choke. Sorry Fins <3 I hope you win a playoff game though if you get there.

Staring at Drew Brees and the saints keeps me from getting cocky about how we've played so far...we'll have to have our BEST game of the season to beat the saints...That team is on a mission and every phase of our team will have to have it's best game to date in order to beat them... Base on how we beat Indy or the Fulcons, I can't get too cocky. The only team we've dominated is Cleveland and we should have dominated them...

If the Phins keep it respectable, i'll still be feeling pretty good about things. A win at N.O. right after beating Atlanta would be the kind of thing we haven't had in a long time. -
I think you're underestimating how well we have played on defense even with the injuries we have sustained since this summer. We beat both Indy and Atlanta with a skeleton crew at DB and the defense only gave up 1 TD and 3 FGs to Cle, Indy, and Atl combined in the second half of games. Even missing Soliai, Misi, and Wake, the only reason Atlanta even got a TD in the 3rd qtr was Sims blocking gaff that got Tannehill sacked and stripped, which gave them the ball on our 12 yard line.
Provided Tannehill and Wallace are healthy, and if we can get Misi, Soliai, and Wake back, or some combination of them, plus more of Dion Jordan's production, we should be able to beat the Saints as well.
'Sides, I'll be at the game. So there's that. :shifty: -
I'll wait 3 more weeks or so before punching a playoff ticket. Remember when the Cardinals started 4-0 last year? And two of those wins were against the Seahawks & Patriots (in New England!). Didn't work out so well. Ironically, we're the first team to be outgained by our opponent in all 3 of our wins in our winning streak since those Cardinals last year... We certainly seem better, but we still have much to prove.

The Arizona team you spoke off played very well with all of their starters, if I am not mistaken... It was when they started making mistakes, they stop executed well, and had some injuries (if I recall) that they started to fall from grace...
Atlanta and Colts had their starting RB out, but still had their starting Wideouts and TEs playing... Our D making mistakes, and injured still held that talent when they needed to from taking the Win...
I feel comfortable in the team... more comfortable than I ever been in a long time (early last decade)... We have the coaching, the talent and the ability to beat NO at NO... once you accept that, you really won't feel hesitant to say that you won't be surprised when they beat NO (I know I did not say if)...
Just to let everyone know... "I am Drinking the Koolaid"...
On the side... That last year we played NO... Our D that year allowed opponents on average over 24 points per game...
They allowed over 24 points 9 times that year (including NO)... NO has been averaging 22 points this year, and 27 points over the last 4...
It will be a close game IMHO, but we have won with injuries and mistakes in the last two games... -
It's certainly even conceivable we play our BEST game thus far... and still lose... because at this point in the season, at their place, the Saints are just a bit better than us. But we can affect how they play, so hopefully that's not the case and we find a way. I wouldn't bet on us, but I'll be hoping, nervous, and sweating come next Monday night.
On a different tack, now that ESPN has the Monday Night Football games, they haven't been as good. This match-up, though, this one harkens back to the classics. 3-0 versus 3-0. Young, upstart, first place team going on the road to face Hall of Fame To Be QB Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, the Super Bowl Champ a few years back, and now their coach has returned and refueled the fire. Lots of different cool headlines for this one. It'll feel like MNF again for a day!!! (sans Howard Cosell, Frank Gifford, and... wait for it... OJ Simpson!!!) -
