Saw this in an article this morning. Here's the quote:• Quarterback Daunte Culpepper -- mentioned by ESPN's Chris Mortensen as a free agent possibility for Miami -- said he would ''love'' to play again for the Dolphins. ''I live here, and I love [Bill Parcells],'' Culpepper said Tuesday at Alonzo Mourning's charity event. ``And I'm healthy now.''
Here's the whole article link:http://www.miamiherald.com/616/story/395174.html
Wouldn't that be something. After having to eat his cap hit if he was brought back in by Bill and CO. I thought it was rumored that Parcells was enamored by him at one point in time.
-
-
Oh goodness - no thanks. I don't want him back.
-
I know, I can't believe he would even consider coming back after how it all played out. Miami didn't handle it very classy, but I wonder if he's just that desparate. Didn't he hurt himself again out in Oakland trying to race someone after a practice?
-
I will never wear that Jersey again. And Parcells would eat that guy alive, Parcells wants QB's that don't lose a game (no mistakes) and Culpepper is a mistake waiting to happen.
first&goal, Phinperor and inFINSible like this. -
I didn't like they way Cameron handled the Culpepper situation, but he's not what he once was. Lets not go down this road again.
Colorado Dolfan and gunn34 like this. -
-
Uhhhmmmm...didnt he "Show up" the dolphins and the fans this last season?
Also, he was Oakland's third string QB. Do you really think Parsnips is gonna give him the time of day? -
I'm not a fan of it either. I just found it rather odd he would even consider Miami an option ever again. Like I said before, I think he knows he's on his way out and is desparate to find somewhere else to go besides CFL or Arena. What else would you expect from someone who is his own agent.
-
I could see him in CFL actually. Arena? Never make it. Waaaaayyyy to fast of a game IMOnjfinfan likes this. -
They would probabally love him since he's an ex Mi nnesotta guy eh. -
-
Oh hell no. Pep fails commandments #1 and #7 miserably.

:bighug:
Miss our morning talks Miss Mary. I have been talking with Marty this AM..and unfortunately I have to sign off for awhile
Hope to catch you in there another day? -
-
Culpepper is washed up. I wouldn't want him even as a 3rd stringer
-
We now return you to your regularly scheduled CPep discussion. -
Well, I'm not a fan of Cpepe, but we need a back up Qb..badly...as much as I like John Beck we need some experience behind him.
That said, Cpepe could be washed up, his best game last yr was against..us...and he ran more then he threw.
In a pinch, if he came cheaply, then I could see Cpepe coming to Miami for another stint. -
His ball security is too poor, hands too small, Parcells would never make that mistake.
-
Man this is like having a bad nightmare over and over. I hope new management is smarter enough not to sign Pep..
-
Hahaha very funny. I am going to tell the girls that Uncle John is ridiculing daddy...of course this means nothing cause just as I cant spell it they have zero idea what it means...
Just be prepared my friend. Once you meet these two angels, your heart wont be the same:thumbup:
Actaully, Jennifer HAS to get on www.disneychannel.com -
Hopefully there's nothing to it other than self promoting by the ego maniac/agent.
-
-
I would use one of those T shirt cannons they use to throw them to the crowd at big concerts. BOOM- there goes my Culpepper jersey. Perhaps not far enough…
-
-
I find it hilarious and sad the continuous hate for Culpepper on this board. Culpepper is washed up but Green would be good to bring back next year lol. What is really funny is that Culpepper had a better Qb rating than any QB on our roster, so if he is that bad its speaks volumes to our qb's.

In the immortal words of George Santayana (Or is it George Constanza? I forget):
"Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it." :001_rolleyes: -
Where's Retired Dolfan Stan? Would he unretire for his guy?
