Stedman Bailey & Quinton Patton. Make it happen, Ireland. We'll be South Green Bay but with a better defense.

Apparently Patton was tearing it up with the media and teams. Great leadership and personality to go along with talent. Liking this kid more and more.

Patton is my guy. Take Banks in 1 and Patton with 2A and we are set, IMO.

Patton and Bailey would be an interesting combination. Probably wouldn't really add the pure speed characteristics we're looking for, but not sure that would particularly matter anyway.

He did let slip that he played with a concussion against Utah State. Oops.

But it may explain why Will Davis was one of the only corners he's ever faced to really battle to a draw with Patton.

That would be nice. I'd prefer Stedman Bailey at 2A. Patton will probably still be there at 2B, though.

I'm intrigued by Patton but not as sold as you guys. What I liked best watching him was that he can really make up for some inaccuracy by his QB. He'll catch off target balls.

But I did not see him as a threat to safeties. I saw him as average at best on contested deep balls, and dropping a few I thought he should have caught in the endzone.

I liked that he ran routes to the sticks well and seemed very versatile in terms of routes.

But no way in hell I take him over Stedman Bailey. All other variables being equal, Bailey will produce more TDs, imo.

I hope we don't take Swope just because of the staff and QB's familiarity with him. I watched Swope and was not impressed. Another Derek Hagan waiting to happen?

My other favorite WR in this draft:

Not surprised. He's good. Just not 1st round good. If we went Terrence Williams & Stedman Bailey in the 2nd round it would be worth more to me than a Brandon Marshall. Pair them with Bess and a TE who can catch passes and you really are starting to resemble the Green Bay WCO offense.

Ansah looking the best is not a suprise..he has great short area explosiveness, strength, and balance, I don't think Richardson is gonna be there at 12, so it might really come down to Jordan or Ansah if we're going D'end..
