Damn, WTF do you have to do to crack the top 20 for St Louis if this primo draft doesn't get the job done?! FIVE 1st round knockouts w/o trading a future 1st.
Yuck. I only ever do it for the Dolphins. Honestly if we want to try to be a little realistic on that site we should limit the trades to some extent. Most teams never trade like that site will allow you to, other than Jimmy Johnson in his heyday, or Bill Belichick in some recent years.
How on earth did you get Aaron Donald at 31! LOL! Every time I've drafted there he's like 10-12-14. My latest. Your score is: 4109 (Drafting Ability: C, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A) The worst thing about that site is how they tell you what your "team needs" are and if you don't match up with that they downgrade you. I can see drafting DT as best available if Aaron Donald is there. But I don't see DT as an early draft "need" position like they do. Maybe they did that before free agency? If so it needs updating. Your Picks: Round 2 Pick 2 (WASH): Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG, UCLA (A) Round 2 Pick 18: Billy Turner, OT, North Dakota State (B) Round 2 Pick 24 (S.F.): Tre Mason, RB, Auburn (A) Round 2 Pick 32 (SEA): Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt (A) Round 3 Pick 17: Yawin Smallwood, ILB, Connecticut (B) Round 3 Pick 20 (ARI): Dakota Dozier, OG, Furman (B+) Round 3 Pick 22 (PHI): Ego Ferguson, DT, LSU (A) Round 4 Pick 2 (WASH): Arthur Lynch, TE, Georgia (B-) Round 4 Pick 16: Rashaad Reynolds, CB, Oregon State (A-) Round 4 Pick 22 (PHI): Tyler Gaffney, RB, Stanford (C+) Round 5 Pick 2 (WASH): Colt Lyerla, TE, Oregon (D-) Round 5 Pick 15: Brent Urban, DE, Virginia (B-) Round 6 Pick 14: Ryan Hewitt, FB, Stanford (A-) Round 7 Pick 19: Avery Patterson, FS, Oregon (D+)
I agree there are serious flaws in the way they set it up. The most annoying was making it so that you could only pick among a cluster of players tightly ranged by their own rankings. I never...EVER...got a shot at Trai Turner. Ever. That's inexcusable. Another annoying thing is the fact that you're graded based on what they have various players playing. Dontae Johnson for instance is a corner to me. But to them he's a free safety. Wesley Johnson to me is a guard but to them he's a tackle. I take hits in the score because I didn't fill my CB needs at the right time and didn't address my needs at G. But how can I address needs at G when you never give me a whack at Trai Turner and you consider Wesley Johnson strictly a tackle?
