So I've done quite a few of these already and honestly the best scenario I think is a trade down. Unless a quarterback falls and that's a guy you think can be the future. Otherwise, this draft seems so rich in talent at positions of need for us, that acquiring another second or even third could be massive. I could easily see us taking two tight ends at some point, and that's without talking one in the first.
I'm curious if anybody else had played with these yet? And what your opinion on what we should do is?
This year's draft could be a huge turning point for this franchise I think.

I agree that this draft is rich in talent at our positions of need. This should be icing on the cake if we are as consistent and foccused as we were during the last two drafts.greyeagl53 and mbsinmisc like this. -
That Fanspeak is a great laugh, tried it 3 separate times and Darnold dropped in 2 of them. Having no knowledge of who's who after the big names is making this a good teaching experience. So here are my 2 attempts which probably equal the worst predictions in the history of football.

Jackson completed 59.1 percent of his passes last year with a passer rating of 146.6
The difference of 2.5 percent in completion percentage doesn't scare me...especially when you factor over 12% of Lamar's targets were dropped by the recievers last year.

I’m increasingly coming round to the idea of drafting Jackson. And I’m fine with it. The boy has talent, is exciting and a playmaker. Sure he has some weaknesses, but I think we trade back and get him late 1st or 2nd.phinswolverinesrockets likes this. -

I'm currently enjoying doing this where I ignore what we need and just draft the highest player left on the board, sometimes it means you end up doubling up in some positions depending on how they fall but this is how my latest attempt ended up.

With everyone proclaiming that we are in a great need of a LB why are you not drafting one until the 227 pick? Why are you drafting a C when Miami already has two Cs?

Since we are doing simulations. Only thing i would change is Phillips in the second but he is a solid overall pick to help in the trenches. We can get a decent DT in the later rounds but, i went with him because he is a technician. Callaway is my sleeper.... solid WR with off the field issues that would scare some teams away. 7th round picks are projects. -
This would be a great draft, asuming no trade downs.

I am not near trained enough to know if his "style" fits ours...but just watching him eat up blockers, destroy running lanes, and put serious pressure on QBs is eye popping. Two players jump out when watching VT defense...#49 and #4. In this draft, they would be our first two picks. I would like it very much.hitman8 likes this. -
Most of these would be great drafts! But can’t see any chance that either Payne or Bryan go in RD2.
I have to believe that we will choose one of: Vea, Payne, Smith, Edmunds or James.
My brain says Smith, not because I think he is the best - but because McMillan is a question mark coming off of knee surgery .... -
