This doesn't effect us much but it could result in the Bills taking Notre Dame's Jimmy Claussen. The Iggs got the worst of this deal...imagine their fans watching McNabb killing the Iggs twice a year.

Its realistic now that we may see 3 OTs taken in the top 5 picks. #2, #4 and #5, with #6 also a realistic spot to see a faller go.

Its going to be interesting to see where Campbell ends up. St Louis needs to look into that. Grab Campbell and then go and get Suh. Talk about upgrading that team.

 

The debate around here is "Rebuilding" or "Retooling". Which are the Eagles doing? Some will say they're "Rebuilding" and with the departure of McNabb / Dawkins / Westbrook (no doubt the faces of the franchise for the past decade plus) one could see that is possible, but others say they're just "Retooling". They've got a backup in Kolb, will probably try and find someone somewhat high in the draft at safety, and have McCoy at HB.

I personally think they're doing a bit of both and moving McNabb to a team for a 2nd rounder this year (that's pretty high) and a couple of other picks in the next years draft (eagles love picks) i think it's more rebuilding than retooling.

I think the Eagles fans would cry if McNabb could light them up twice a year.. and he just may if they can get an Oline down in Washington.

 

It's a shame we couldn't have dealt Thigpen to Washington for those draft picks (and maybe even thrown in Smiley to clinch the deal).

I think our front office blew this one.

Really? With the choice of McNabb, or Thigpen, you'd trade for Thigpen instead of McNabb if you were the GM in Washington? Let me tell you, you would be looking for a new job today then. Especially if you were going to give up a 2nd, and a 3rd or 4th for Thigpen too. Now if you were the GM in Miami and swung that deal, you just may be a hero :lol: But to say our FO really blew this... is a little far fetched. There's no reason for Washington to give that up for Thigpen, with McNabb out there, even if you threw in Smiley.
