You know what it is Rosey, your a New York head, they view you as such. The day Marshall was a Dolphin, I streamed QAM, and this cat was pumped to have Marshall on the team. I would have liked to hear the interview between you two, I think it would have been good. IDK Sid, maybe you pissed the Tuna off somehow back in the day that only you know about, cuz why you? And yes they have a "ban" on him talking to the media, but he talks to the media, so whats the deal?? I like to listen to Sid , don't always agree with him but he does come up with an interesting show most of the time.
Not sure why management don't care for him or most of the media.Could be control issues.

He tells it like he sees it, is it always match ours? Probably not, but he has had some things that are spot on at times...

Maybe that is what prompted the Fins FO from having BM on your show, they might not want BM to dwell in the past...

 

It's going to be pretty hard to make this into the kind of scandal you want it to be given it's a radio show no one listens to on a station no one can hear over Cuban radio interference.

I think it's obvious that the Dolphins felt they had more to lose than to gain with him going on with Sid.

If Sid was going to grill him, their fears were probably justified IMO. They've had a bad run of PR with off the field stuff lately. This guy was a huge 'get' and they're trying to sell tickets.

They probably don't want his past issues out there anymore than they already are. A lot of fans have forgotten about that stuff for the moment.

Admittedly I didn't catch everything that went on the past week or so with this situation. But I'd heard the potential line of questioning was telegraphed during an interview with Mike Florio.

Sedano gets an interview and Sid does not.That could be interpreted as a compliment to Sid .The Dolphins fear Sid more than any other reporter because he is likely to ask the tougher questions........and get compromising answers from BM.

I only know what I have read in various snippets but I would read and give my unbiased opinion if I had access to his article. For whatever reason the Dolphins didn't want BM to do the interview, they had a reason other than just not liking Sid.
Brandon Marshall has a great attitude and sees this as a new start, maybe the Dolphins just didn't want to open up old wounds and rehash old stories.

 

You know, Sid, your pre-Marshall back-and-forth with Florio was embarrassing. This whole situation is akin to going on the radio bragging about what you're going to do to a girl at the end of a date, and then acting like a jackass when her father hears you and forbids her to have any contact with you. The Dolphins were 100% correct in pulling the plug on the Marshall interview.

If you don't understand why they would, you need to look up the word 'contemptuous', and ask yourself the point as to why the Dolphins would have ANY INTEREST WHATSOEVER in having Marshall go on your show to get 'grilled', as you so eloquently put it.

Personally, I don't give two s***s about 'getting to the bottom' of a player's off-field drama. It's none of my business. Get it? It's ridiculous when guys like you try to bring the 'Jerry Springer' angle to sports talk radio. However, I guess taking the low road is a lot easier than actually putting on a good show, huh?

Your show is crap. Don't blame us for it. Most of us laughed and understood why the Dolphins didn't want Marshall to appear on your show. Hell its my hope that it doesnt stop there.
