Not bad.

Awful

How is he as a guard?
-
Yikes, not a great start imo.

Trusting Flores/Grier on this one.Surfs Up 99 and Dol-Fan Dupree like this. -
Also slightly above average is a HUGE upgrade over last yearPuka-head, mlb1399, Surfs Up 99 and 2 others like this. -
Would hate to have him at tackle but he wasn't bad at guard last year. We shall see.
-
We will se how it plays out. Probably not a move I'd have made myself, but it's been made and it could work out. Let's see.

I dont think anyone is taking the Cardinals offseason trophy after that trade..

Arizona likely now looking at the big 4 tackles in the draft, or maybe a high end defender.Vertical Limit likes this. -
I dont understand how Deandre Hopkins doesnt net you at minimum a first rounder... hell if he was available and the dolphins knew about it i would have given up our late first and a third for him and pair him up with Parker..

I think they did the right thing here.
So many holes... They just inked a guy who was clearly above average... He is 26... and it is under $10 million a year... We may have been dreaming of Thuney... but if he hit the market he would have commanded 15 million per. Flowers switched positions last year and overcame an injury riddled season two years ago to become one of the better guards in the league.. .His Pass rating, protection ratings and win percentage are all strong.
I think we did more than fair here.mlb1399 likes this. -
I don’t know much about him, but there are very few areas that we don’t need improvementS.
I hope he blossoms in Miami. -
Ouch! That is all.
-
He is an elite talent.
Conklin just for 14 million a year for winning 93% of his encounters... Flowers won 92% of his and gets less than 10
The Dolphins did their homework on this one.Grippa and Dol-Fan Dupree like this. -
Can only hope. He's had one successful year out of 5 in the league, and reportedly had work-ethic issues in New York.
Did we get a guy who finally figured it out and that Flores can keep motivated and working hard? Or did we get a guy who did well enough in one year to earn a decent contract and then he turns back into a slug?
That said, at least we aren't Detroit signing a career backup who couldn't start in Philly after they lost both tackles to a gargantuan five year deal lol.AGuyNamedAlex likes this. -

Ooof. Don’t like it. Investing in the OL is nice for once But not with a guy like him. Especially if it’s for a tackle position. When the Giants dumped him David Diehl blasted him on Sirius radio for how terrible he was as a player and his work ethic.
guess we will wait and see how this staff gets him going but on the surface it’s a lot of cash for a guy with his track record.
going to take a lot to change my mind on this one probably. As a guard I’m ok with it but still seems too rich.texanphinatic likes this. -
Graham Glasgow off the market, I would have preferred him. Young and hungry.
4/$44 for Glasgow vs. 3/$30 for Flowers? I'm gonna need to see the gameplay, but we chose poorly imo.
