I think this year has proven that Sanders is the most important member of the Indy D. Freeney was lackluster last year, and was doing pretty bad before his injury this year.

I think the key to the Colts success has been the fact that Dungy has finally got his players on the D. (This year they've been able to plug almost anybody in and have success, from mid round picks, to late round picks, to 7th round picks).

Speaking of Colts players, two I'd target in FA; Ben Utecht and Matt Giordano

 

besides the fact that June,Harper,Reagor, and Doss aren't very good? Doss lost his starting job to a 6th round rookie out of Howard. And don't bring up depth because Indy has decent depth at each position

 

has is it that Indy affords to keep their studs and never bring in anyone else, yet hey still remain good? boggles the mind. They have two, possibly three good players on their defense, I don't know how they manage.

 

Who out of that list has hurt them? They are better this year then they were last.

 

Crayton signed a four year deal with the Cowboys for 14 million, he is out as far as upgrade in the WR position. Who is the best option out there?

DOm, people said they'd regret losing Tarik Glenn, and Tony Ugoh stepped right in. Booger McFarland was replaced by Ed Johnson. Marlin Jackson and Kelvin Hayden have surpassed what Jason David and Nick Harper did. Kenton Keith has been a very good backup for Addai so they don't miss Rhodes. Over the years the Colts have lost Larry Triplett,Mike Peterson,Marcus Washington,Cato June,and David Thorton. Guess what? It doesn't matter who they lose, because they'll plug someone in and they'll either equal or surpass the guy they replaced. When/if Hagler,Brackett, and/or Keiaho leave, they've got Clint Sessions,Ramon Guzman, and Brandon Archer. If Bethea leaves they've Brannon Condren. If Hayden/Jackson leave, they've got Dante Hughes and and Tim Jennings. If Brock,and Mathis leave, they've got Kenyuta Dawson and Quinn Pit****.

As long as Polian and Dungy are in INdy, it doesn't matter who they lose because they'll easily replace them

Im not big on Faneca. Would rather go with more youth at the position really. Someone we can pair with Carey and Satele and just have a starting left side in place for a decade.
Plus I think Faneca will be way overpriced compared to his position. Ill overpay a QB, DE, CB type of guy, but a guard?

 

i think that he would bring leadership to an O-Line and we need that and he is expernced
