Falcons/Saints Final MNF Game until September

If the Falcons win tonight Matt Ryan ties Dan Marino for most wins, 33, in his first 3 seasons. If they win next week he passes him. Considering we passed on him and have been searching for the successor to Marino...that stings.

At least if Atlanta wins the Super Bowl that would be 2 straight years the Dolphins would have had a big hand in the team that won the Super Bowl. Not just because of Ryan, but because Miami beat out Atlanta to get Parcells, which turned out to be worse for us and better for them. And Atlanta has 5 former Dolphins coaches/coordinators on their staff, highlighted by OC Mike Mularkey.

And we passed on Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, Matt Cassell, Aaron Rodgers, Michael Vick (as a FA), Tony Romo, David Garrard, Matt Schaub, Jon Kitna, Kyle Orton, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Shaun Hill.

It's not like we came out of the draft with a bum this time, and there is no guarantee Ryan would be viewed in anywhere near the same light he is now if he were here.

I don't get all the love for Mike Mularkey. He can be a bit predictable.
