Yes it is true and here is how things will go down (I haven't seen this posted elsewhere so if it is forgive me):
I know this has been a hot topic on here for awhile so I thought I'd post the news. Good thing for Fallout 3 PS3 owners but not so much for Sony as I'm sure the 360 version having the earlier release dates will get them more money.
Just another example of companies going cross platform to make more money (which makes you wonder if the GTAIV DLC will indeed come to the PS3 and if MGS4 is going to the 360).

You guys will enjoy this, i am glad they released it to the ps3

I guess I should have just kept the PS3 version instead of trading it in for a copy on the 360. Oh well, I lost my level 20 saved game anyway when my old PS3 crashed. I would have had to play through again anyway but swapping it cost me almost 20 bucks.
This is good news for PS3 owners. I know I really felt cheated initially on this whole deal. -
Like I said though its just another sign true third party exclusives are almost done. -
Well... It was never advertised as an exclusive at all from what i remember. In fact, I'm pretty certain Bethesda were the only ones that said it was a PC and 360 exclusive for the time being. Maybe it just took longer to make.

The real damage has been done already though. Anyone who had the opportunity to buy the game on either system went with the 360 version knowing they'd get the DLC sooner rather than later. That's why exclusivity will continue. Console manufacturers need to sell more software than their competitors, so they will continue to fight over exclusivity on DLC stuff. Don't forget that some companies, like Rockstar, were well compensated for their exclusivity agreements.
It's like Batman Arkham Asylum. Ps3 owners will get exclusive Joker DLC that 360 owners won't. If i had a ps3, id get that version. -

Will the DLC be new maps for online play or for both?

I know all acounts say Broken Steel is well worth it, but my question is, after reading about the perks, it seems that they are all realllly stoopid, except the perks you can get at level 30, and perhaps the dogmeat perk. but other than that, they all seem really lame. thoughts?
