For those of you who like The Simpsons what are some of your favorite episodes throughout the years? I mostly like the earlier season episodes, some of my favorites are "Three Men and a Comic Book" where Bart,Milhouse, and Martin pool their money together to buy an expensive comic book but end up fighting over it,also "Lemon of Troy" where Shelbyville takes Springfields' lemon tree so they go over trying to get it back.

Hmm...I liked the halloween episodes and Homer eating "cheap meat" and going to the hospital..again and again..

22 tales of Springfield
Sherri Bobbins
and
2 shorts from the tree house of horrors. The Raven and the Tooth when Lisa creates life from her tooth and soda. -

I own seasons 5,6, & 7 on DVD and love all those episodes.
I want the first 4 and I think season 8.
Those years were ALL golden and I think you'd be hard pressed to find an episode I didn't like within that time.
Favorite episodes...
"I can see the baby deer in the lawn fa lalala lala la la lala"
Most of the Halloween episodes.
The squishee bender episode...
The one where they get a pool and milhouse signs bart's cast "Milpool" instead of "milhouse".
the one where homer goes on the lollapolloza tour
the one where lisa gets married
the one where homer removes the crayon in his brain and becomes a genius
the one where lisa becomes president and bart is a wanna be musician.
the one where ralph gets a "i choo choo choose" you card from lisa and he keeps saying it the whole episode..
several more...

and some of the early christmas episodes were great. the one where homer keeps breaking into other people's houses because he's stealing gifts for them and the kids keep singing louder and louder as he breaks more **** :lol:Frumundah Finnatic likes this. -

22 short stories in 23 minutes or whatever it was called is great stuff.
I also enjoyed the Venus de Gummy episode where Homer gets accused of grabbing the babysitter's butt, but was really grabbing the gummy off of her toosh. The episode is great because the "Hard Copy," style TV show at the end when they apologize to Homer, they also admit to other stories that they made up and they all scroll up super fast.
I won't ruin it, but if you ever watch those scroll in fram by frame...it is hilarious.
They did the same thing where they announced the following people to be gay when they thought the world was ending.
The episode where Bart discovers a comet that is headed straight for Springfield. Every scenario to get out of town, fight the comet off or whatever, results in Moe's Tavern going up in flames and ends with Homer inexplicably being right about the comet burning up and hitting earth being no larger than a chihuahua's head (which is, exactly what happens).
I also love the Monorail episode and just about anything with Troy McClure, but in particular, the off broadway production of Planet of the Apes that he starred in.
By far my favorite series of all time. Even as the quality has sunk, it is still better than most shows on TV.Frumundah Finnatic likes this. -
The one where Homer has a heart attack, it also has one of my favorite starting, "Bad Cops"
The Monorail, "Mono = one and Rail = Rail"
The one where homer goes to space.
The one where Homer saw an alien that turned out to be Mr. Burns
The one where Lisa becomes a vegitarian, "Come to our BBBQ, the extra B is for BYOBB"
I also like the Comet episode
The one where Homer becomes a professional boxer
Of course the one with Hank Scorpio. that one was genuis
There are probably a lot more -
There are alot of episodes that I would consider favorites
Homer joins a cult "na na na na na na na na leader"
Mr Burns runs over Bart
The Simpsons house-sit for Mr Burns
Bart works for Fat Tony's gang
Bart's big brother, Homer's little brother
Sideshow Bob and his brother attempt to blow up the dam
Krusty fakes his own death
Homer joins the stonecutters
Homer runs away from PBS "Praise Jeebus"
.....way too many to name hereFrumundah Finnatic likes this. -
One of my favorite shows of all time. Twenty years of smart *** humor and endless references to celebrities of all sorts and idiocy. Always loved the itchy & scratchy clips and Moe's Tavern prank calls.
-
I definitely would have to say 'Homer at Bat' (I think that's the title), the one where Burns hires MLB players like Clemens, Canseco, Boggs, Griffey, Strawberry, Mattingly, Ozzie etc for the softball game. The Simpsons were great up until around the 10th season or so, then I'm not sure if I grew out of them but they just stopped being good. I still love the old stuff though.

I like the one where homer is flying through space eating chips.
The one where homer gets so fat (on purpose) so he doesn't have to go to work
Marge on the lam
The one where they all fall asleep in church and have different dream sequences. bart is in a david vs. goliath one where he's curling a sheep to go fight goliath :sidelol: -

Bart jumping the gorge is still great. I remember being a kid and laughing my balls off at homer falling down the gorge, bumping his head on the rocks while being helicoptered out, loaded into the ambulance, which promptly crashes into a tree, causing Homer's gurney to roll out the back and right back down the gorge.
I also enjoyed the one where Former President Bush moves into the neighborhood and ends up fighting with Homer. Good stuff.
Of course, the Who Shot Mr. Burns saga pretty much consumed me and my friends during the summer between 7th and 8th grade as we racked our brains trying to put all the "clues," together.dolphinfn3454, Frumundah Finnatic and anlgp like this. -
My favorite line from the Simpsons would have to be "If Bart can be El Barto... "
Just HILARIOUS.
Some of my favorites include:
-When the Simpsons go Camping and the media thinks Homer is Big Foot.
-The Super Bowl episode where Marino and Aikman appear.
-The one where a lot of MLB players (Griffey, Mattingly, etc.) appear.
-The Michael Jackson episode.
-The Flaming Moe episode.
-Mr. Plow
-The episode where Bart drops a megaphone down a well and pretends to be "Timmy O'Toole" who fell down the well.
-Team Homer (When Homer started a bowling team)
So many good episodes... -
