for subs i have a completely b team for games that aren't as important/easy/those guys tired...i still have both diarra's, alonso, van der vaart...i also bought Nathan Delfouneso and he is a goal scoring machine for me. my first like 3 games with him he had 8 goals lol and thats on world class so it's not "easy"

Upgrade your negotiator. The scout is for scouting trips across the world from what I know. I rarely use him though. I just buy young talent for cheap, develop them for 2/3 years and sell it.dolfan32323 and King Felix like this. -
lol well the budget is ridiculous. everything is upgraded to 10/10 and i still have almost 100mil left on the budget. i always choose the sponsor that pays for each win

I do have FIFA 10 and it's an excellent soccer game (not as good as the Show as far as sports' games though). I've been playing a custom player lately (that feature is called something, but I forget what exactly) named Simon Dalglish (it's Kenny Dalglish's "son" that I made up :lol:). Of course he plays for Liverpool. His national team is England not Scotland :shifty:.
I've setup manager mode but I haven't gotten very far with it. Do you guys play every game that your team is in or just sim? How long is each game that you actually play? It's a tough game to master. -
I play most games. If I'm playing Wigan or like Hull City, I simulate. Each game takes me about 20-25 minutes. I've gotten pretty good at it, or at least I like to think I have. For me, its press/ attack to open the game and then once I get the lead, I play possession ala Spain.
Oh and I don't buy Englishmen. Overrated and expensive. -
How far have you guys gotten in your MM's? Felix? I got up to eight seasons with Arsenal and then I quit because my team was so stacked. They were all 90+. As I said earlier, I buy young talent and then develop them. So much cheaper to go that way, plus the profit on them is ridiculous after a few years.

Just ribbing you a little, though it is somewhat true in the game. I can buy a French or Dutch footballer for half the price and develop them just as well. Though I will say, Jack Wilshere is a helluva footballer.
I don't know what I have my halves set to, to be honest. I don't recall. I don't play at Legendary either. The second hardest, which I don't recall what it is. World Class? :lol: I just play the game and manage the rosters, mate. -
I was curious about the length of halves you guys play, I only play six minute halves and at Semi Pro i can beat teams five or six nill with using just my custom player. I do like the idea of controlling only one guy, seems more "realistic". The player I have was designed to play on the wing, but the manager keeps putting me at RCM. When I make team captain, I can control the team management which I assume is just the starting rosters (not transfers).

i was into year 3 but i got that glitch or w/e were it freezes after a game..i'm in year 3 again so i'm hoping i can keep playing. one thing i hate about MM is you can't play in the champions league first season.

Also, if you want a holding mid, one of the two Bender brothers you can purchase. I get their names mixed up. I think the holding mid is on Bayern.

I just picked up your boy Delfouneso from the free agency file. Was a little surprised because of the rather high overall. I just started my second season and he's an 84 at 19 years of age. Further, he's already marked at 22 million. I would sell him but I like young talents so he'll stick, even though I am absolutely full of strikers on my squad. In terms of pure strikers, I've got Bendtner (85 / 22 age), Vela (87 / 21 age) , Muller (73 / 20 age), Walcott (85/ 21 age) and now Delfouneso (84 / 19 age).
I would like to round out my squad with a left back and Keisuke Honda. Honda's expensive however. 14M starting price and even though I have 217M in the bank (started at 63 last season), I don't like spending.
Btw, Kroos went up from an 82 to an 87 in the second season. -

So, I've been playing manager mode on my PS3 (FIFA 10). Other than the transfer window, where you bid on players for sale, and the scouting system, where you send your scout out for specific positions and can sign what I would call imaginary players (not real), how can I sign OTHER players?? For example, how can I sign players that are on other teams that aren't for sale (or can I?). I also don't understand the Short List as it's always empty.
