Don't worry.. if we have a losing record this year it will be hard for anyone to sugarcoat problems with the team or coach. Ross will still keep him for awhile (and I do think giving a new hire at least 3 years is important so you can be relatively certain you know what you got), but Wannstedt's first 4 seasons were 11-5, 11-5, 9-7, 10-6, falling apart only in season 5 with a 1-8. That's maybe the best example I can think of where a good W/L record hid long-term issues. That usually doesn't happen. If we end strong I'll still like Gase and if not then it's time for an avalanche of criticism.

I don't care what anyone says, we won that Raiders game and the refs screwed us out of it with that ridiculous penalty on Jones. You flip that one penalty to the right call, 15 yards the other way, and we win the game. The Panthers and Ravens did stomp our asses, but we've been pretty competitive the rest of the year despite the odds with Cutler.

I'd love to see miracles and us sitting at 9-0 right now, but come on...the team is struggling without our offensive weapons.

 

I'd rather take my $10 and buy literally anything else.
