Pakistan's worst ever flooding has already affected 14 million people, leaving 2 million homeless and an estimated 1,600 dead. News of the fresh surges came as the UN launched an emergency fundraising appeal for $459m (£290m), warning that survivors still face life-threatening conditions from disease and food shortages. The chief minister of Sindh province, Qaim Ali Shah, described the international aid pledged so far as "peanuts".

DevilFin13subscriberIts really bad timing on top of bad luck for them. We have military forces stretched out fighting two wars and we are coming off a recession. Even so I think we have pledged to give more aid. Hopefully we move quickly with what we can give.

Its covering a 1/3 of Pakistan. I'm guessing its just a 1 in 3 chance.
Ronnie Bassluxury_boxThere was an article about how we were helping those in the land ruled by the Taliban and were gaining respect among the natives there and were pissing off the Taliban because of it, hopefully we keep this up and continue to win hearts and friends over there.
