The Waterboy - Adam Sandler
The Longest Yard (2005) - Adam Sandler
The Longest Yard (1974) - Burt Reynolds

PROGRAM - Omar Epps

My View
Personally I have seen all the listed movies except Invincible, Varsity Blues and Rudy. I have never heard of Brian's Song until now. Based on all your comments I will have to take a trip to the movie store and watch a few more. The great thing about football movies are the stories they tell combined with the action. Usually it's about togetherness and the triumphs above obstacles. Some are true moving stories, and some are ludicrously funny and entertaining. Unfortunately I can't add more movies to the list unless someone can show me how. So if I have left any out please make a comment. I'm a fan of these types of movies and would like to watch any other good ones. Personally for me it was a toss between Remember the Titans and Any Given Sunday.
Thanks for all your input!

Why is it that baseball movies are always better than football movies? And I don't even LIKE baseball that much?
-
Hmmmm....No Brians Song? Wow....
Okay, from that list, I went with the other tear-jerker...RUDY
Lots of good movies on that list bro -
Remember The Titans certainly takes the cake for me.
Denzel Washington & Will Patton stood out, but Wood Harris almost stole the show.
(Denzel is just too good)
Might be a loner on this one, but I didn't even like Rudy that much. 6.5-7/10. -
Remember the Titans... hands down for me. Great performances in that movie, some great action shots, and a great meaningful story line. It's easily the winner in my opinion

Yeah I couldnt believe there was no Brian Song, North Dallas Forty or Necessary Roughness.
Remember the Titans and Rudy are the best football movies by farLudacris likes this. -
I'm partial to Necessary Roughness myself. Watched it alot last season. Satelle reminds me of the center in the movie. Manu Manu the slender.
