This is popular around here also during "TPing" season. I guess kids got bored with just throwing toilet paper into trees. They also do what they call shredding, they tear pieces of TP and put them all over your yard.
Iowa pranksters get just desserts: 3,000 forks in their yard
DUBUQUE, Iowa - When known pranksters Rick and Marilyn Jones left town for a wedding, neighbors seeking payback eyed their property and decided to stick a fork in it — a few thousand forks, in fact.
We just wanted to do something funny to them, because every time we leave, they pull some prank on us," said Paula Tschudi, who promised to help pick up the forks.
Over the years, the Joneses have strung beer cans like holiday lights around the Tschudis' home, put a for-sale sign in their yard and strung yellow crime-scene tape around chalk outlines of bodies on the sidewalk.

We had a plumbery in town that used to put all their old showroom toilets out back for a morning truck to pick up. Friday nights delivery wouldn't be picked up until Monday. SOOOOOO friends and I used to take the toilets put them on the front lawn of a friend's house, T.P. the whole house (the trick is to tear each square off individually. Makes is a bear to pick up) and leave the newspaper on top of the commode.
One night, four of us decided to take it a step further and do it to our ex grilfriends house. One of the guys (who shall remain nameless) actually left a "present" in the commode that the ex's mother found.
The frk thin is cool. But really, all it did was aerate their lawn for them...and give them silverware for a killer dinner party.alen1 likes this. -
Thats what they call shredding around here, my daughter hates having to pick that stuff up every year. Its really bad if there is some dew on the ground the next morning, the stuff is almost impossible to get picked up. -

Another fun one is something called TAPPING. Basically, you get a quarter, punch a whole in it. Tie fishing line to it and tape it to some poor sap's window on his house. You then sit out in your car and pull the string lightly. The quarter will pull back and then tap against the window. Doesn't sound like much, but it is louder then all get out inside the house. The best part is, they can't see the fishing string. Its priceless when they come storming out of the house looking for the culprit and can't find it.
I was a bad kid. :sad:alen1 likes this. -

We've done plenty of that type of stuff. Shredded paper is always good as is forking. Also something to do is break up plastic forks/spoons/knives so there somewhat small and scatter them across the lawn. Maple Syrup across stuff... Egging... water + Pancake mix... Soap... Vasoline on all the door handles... One time we TP'ed someone and took their house and sprayed everything quick...
Man, no wonder everybody watched over their house during Homecoming Week... -
